Tonight, I ordered Fried Dumplings. When they were delivered, I opened the container and they were burnt (please see the attached). I called the restaurant and the owner’s son (who takes most of the orders and works at the front counter) answered. I explained the dumplings were fried and burnt. I explained they even smelled burnt. He said he would call his father (who delivered the food) to instruct him to come back to my residence and pick up the food; and they would issue me a refund. I explained to him I wanted dumplings; so, I asked him to re-make the dumplings and when the corrected dumplings were delivered, I would give them the burnt dumplings. He said, “No, that option isn’t available at this time.” I asked why isn’t the option wasn’t available. He stated they would just come to pick up the burnt dumplings and issue a refund. I further explained that money (a refund) isn’t the issue. I didn’t want a refund. I wanted the dumplings I ordered to be corrected and re-delivered. He told me that I would be charged a second delivery fee. I asked him, “Why would I be charged a second delivery fee when the restaurant made the mistake?” He pivoted; and stated that re-delivery isn’t an available option. When I questioned why not, he stated, “Because we don’t want to.” I told him, “You just lost a customer!” This family-owned restaurant has poor customer service. This incident isn’t my first time experiencing sub-par customer service; but, I wanted to give them the “benefit of the doubt.” The restaurant made the mistake; but, wouldn’t be inconvenienced to ensure the customer was satisfied. Patronize this place at your own risk! If they mess up your order, they won’t go out of their way to make it right. I will NEVER bring my money back to this poor excuse...
Read moreVery nice owner/worker. very good conversation, asked for suggestions. Unfortunately the food was very pedestrian. Egg Fu Yung decent but the Kung Pao Chicken had more celery than chicken and lacked any complex flavor. Asked for extra spicy and that was accomplished but the actual flavor was blah. The Sezchuan Seafood was pretty much the same. Large shrimp were excellent and a decent amount of bay scallops but the surimi "crab" was a real detractor. Fishy and mushy. Would be better off without it. Stopped on a recommendation of a near by business. Probably wont be back. Much better...

I ordered for delivery, took about 45 from the time I called to the time it was delivered. The breading sweet and sour chicken was very funnel cake tasting. It was extremely thick and definitely over cooked or cooked in older oil. The breading was too sweet but I actually thought the sauce was delicious. The chicken for our other meal was very fatty. Every bite was slimy/fatty and took a while to chew but the actual sauce was delicious and the veggies were cooked good. The rice was a big let down. It wasn't fully cooked so it was still semi hard...
