Pho Central — Restaurant in Deer Park

This place is an absolute JOKE. They are GREEDY GREEDY GREEDY!! I have never in all my experiences with Vietnamese restaurants (and i go to plenty) seen a company as stingy and greedy! My sister and her husband went to eat and they both got the lunch combo while eating there. I ordered one to go and my sister was dropping it off to me. They were told that the combo was not to go (that's understandable) so I ordered a small pho tai and an order of spring rolls to go. They stated on Togo orders ONLY the large is available. I have NEVER heard of that. I get it though because I had already planned to have this for lunch. I asked my sister if she could get a small thing of fish sauce with my order and some chili paste (they provide chili paste to the tables FOR FREE) and I have never been charged for it before. Tell me why I just paid a dollar for half an ounce of chili paste and a dollar for fish sauce on top of being FORCED to order a large pho to go. So instead of having a nice and affordable lunch I had an almost 20 dollar lunch when the whole reason I enjoy pho is because it's delicious and affordable. NOT AT PHO CENTRAL. DO...

This used to be my fav Vietnamese place, I’ve been coming here for the last few years but things had been bad lately and I think I will start to go to Pho Vivi when in need of a vegetable pho, and Pho Barr when in need of vermicelli or bahn me. I noticed that Pho Central is pricey compared to others, because the portions are small, I always have to add extra meat wich increases the price. Also is dumb that you have to pay extra to add beef broth to a vegetarian soup or to add vegetables to a beef soup. Other places just switch the broth with no problems, but in this place you get an upcharge for things like that. Lastly, the last few times I’ve gotten the vegan pho, the broccoli in mi soup seemed spoiled with brown and black spots, I never payed much attention and just left the bad parts out (which is less food by the way, making it more expensive) but today almost all the broccoli was bad and I had to eat the less bad of it, and I just got a diarreah right after finishing, I’m reading online that mold in broccoli may upset the stomach due to the toxins so I’m disappointed because is not the first time that the...

Beyond upset and disgusting by the food. Ordered door dash and was very disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and this place makes me wish they would add zero stars already. I got the chargrilled shrimp pork and eggrolls. First problem is they literally gave me 2 tiny pieces of shrimp. Second problem is the shrimp were the only thing edible on the plate. The pork was thinly sliced and overcooked to hell. Either they gave me old meat that they cooked twice or they tried to serve beef jerky.... That they also cooked twice. Even the rice was off. It was congealed to the point where it was close to mochi instead of rice. I also got the shrimp spring rolls which were edible but for the price I wouldn't get again.
