I would rate this training location a ZERO if possible!
Horrible experience at the Pasadena location trying to get my employees set up with training. The customer waived the Basic Plus. When my employee got there, he sat there for over 3 hrs. while I was calling between these people and Alliance Safety Council trying to get an orientation for our customer. Our customer ended up doing the orientation at their facility. These people do just the minimum to keep their jobs and obviously hate their jobs.
The first lady I talked to (Supervisor) told me I had to contact Alliance Safety Council to get an exemption for Basic Plus since the customer waived it for an emergency job. When I called Alliance, they were shocked I even called them and told me to HASC needs to call them for the exemption. When I called HASC back, they told me “They will not contact Alliance Safety and I had to call them back to have Alliance enter the exemption through the computer.” Absolutely NO customer service at this company and they are extremely rude. They will not help you unless they must and will not go out of their way to make the process easier for you. USE Alliance Safety Council for your training if you can!! They will save you a lot of...
Read moreI took 40 HOUR HAZWOPER with Mrs.Michelle. I can say she is the most exquisite educator I have ever had in my life including college. The way she teaches is so dynamic and the example she gives us helps us retain the exciting lessons that she teaches us for our safety and knowledge to take back to our employer. Throughout this 8 hour 5-day course I can honestly say that I know what I can and cannot get into and because of her passion for safety and Industrial services I am considering going back to college just based off of what she taught me for I can better help this industry and this Earth. Mrs. Michelle, isn't only beautiful by her personality and excitement in class but beautiful all around and no matter how hard the class is her presence alone will wake anybody stay up and especially be able to concentrate...she makes the class fun and she is funny and beautiful.
I know way more than any four-year college or any big time oil and gas company could have ever taught me and if I need any more training I will not go unless Mrs. Michelle is teaching that class because I know if she's teaching I will get all the information I need and then some. She takes this serious and won't...
Read moreA Good place to get the training you need for maritime safety and security of port facilities and vessels. All the port side, ship channel, chemical & coal energy plants and the tank farm facilities require this OSHA training to gain access as a contractor. I obtained my first tutorial class here in 2000. You will need to be awake and alert because theses tutorials are long and if you aren’t paying attention it is easy to make the wrong multiple choice or many choices to confuse you. Lots of information overload with each tutorial and if you are unlucky and your employer has to ask you to take three or more of these sessions, then I suggest get as much rest beforehand, fill you pocket full of something to snack on like candy or peanuts or you will delay the process by taking multiple breaks which you will need one or two for restroom breaks. Long and tedious tutorials but effective in safety and security awareness you will need to work at a plant facility, near a water areas, along the ship channel...
