Victory RC Hobby Shop — Local services in Deer Park

Had trouble getting in because he was allowing some other customer to fiddle with a 1/5 scale in the front door cranking it with no plug just flooding the engine spark plug look fouled. seemed hassled by me asking a basic question about body shop painting though he offered suggestions.I give them that. Asked the other customer if he tried something for his 1/5 scale engine since I have experience with them in the past asking if he tried ether which is controversial for some but was really just curious about his RC car he had to butt in no you dont do that (starting fluid). I asked why? because oil? just shook his head and walked off talking to other employee. hmmkay I could have learned something as well but no biggie let the guy keep cranking the engine to see if it has spark or whatever to no effect. Place was a mess and crowded for how much they offer didnt even bother to look at prices because I felt unwelcome ....

Anyone that would give Victory, Jake or Russel anything less than a 4 star rating has to be 100% ignorant to the hobby, and refuses to listen to these guys.

Jake is an A1 Racer with excellent product knowledge as well as outstanding mechanic skills. Anything that Russel has not been able to tell me right off of the top of his head, he has been able to find out for me immediately by looking through his manufacturer manuals, and there has only been a few times that has happened with oddball parts.

I would further state, that they have even been helpful at picking out cars / trucks for my two younger nephews that they will be able to grow into.

Stand up job, and hats off to both of you, if all hobby shops were this helpful, there would be more of...

I’m saddened to even have to leave this review. Over a course of a few years the truth about the feeling I always had when walking through the door finally came out. There has been several times I’ve had to use the restroom and was told “We don’t have a public restroom.” Now I’m not pink just so you know…Mr. Pink walks through the door..”Hey man I’m going to use your restroom…Store owner responds…”sure go right ahead!” All this is at the same moment I’m collecting my things. I guess a smart person could figure out the rest. Stop spending “our” money in places where “we” are not greeted warmly.
