I recently visited "Vote for Pedro," a fantastic Mexican restaurant in Boca Raton, and it was an absolute delight. The atmosphere is incredibly fun and lively, making it a great spot for a night out. The owner, Anthony, is exceptionally inviting and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in.

The food was the real star of the show. I had the steak burrito, which was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. For dessert, I couldn't resist trying both the churro with ice cream and the flan cheesecake. The churros were crispy, sweet, and perfectly complemented by the creamy chocolate ice cream. The flan was rich, smooth, and simply melted in my mouth.

Very disappointing! Drove up from Broward to try it tonight. We arrive and ask for drinks but we are told sorry the soda machine wasn’t working. Asked for glass bottle Mexican cokes and fortunately they did have them. Ordered the Heck Yeah Nachos. They were bare like 4 jalapeños, two back beans, a couple of chopped tomatoes with queso randomly splattered around. Very weak! Asked the server for some salsa for the naked chips (try to make the best of it) and she tells us sorry everything is put away and she can’t get us any. Ok. Now the Birria tacos arrive. Flavor was very good but meat was cold and shells soggy. Mentioned to the server that we weren’t happy in general and she said “oh well there was nothing she could do.” I told her she could relay our sentiments to the manager. Nobody ever came out to apologize or offer anything despite the place being pretty much empty at 9:30 on a Saturday night. HIDDEN GEM. It's tucked in the back of business center on the edge of Deerfield & Boca and so worth finding. We both lived in the Southwest and have high standards for all cuisine but particularly latin. I was so happy that they accommodated some dietary restrictions and even made our guac to order. I'm sorry that I can't remember the name of our server but it was something like Melanie (hope that's close) -- she's awesome. She was working the bar and dining room solo and handled it with ease and a smile. We were really impressed by the decor -- super clean -- tastefully decorated -- TV's in perfect locations.
