Just had dinner here with my family for the 1st time, my parents had been raving about it and wanted us to try it with them. We are full blooded Italians and I was hoping it was going to be close to the real thing.....I was pleasantly surprised. Garlic bread was amazing. We ordered the Stuffed Artichoke, Melon with Porshitto & Baked Cauliflower. All fantastic, super flavorful and fresh. For dinner I had the Beet & Goat Cheese Salad with Chicken, it was huge portion and full of flavor, I ended up taking some beets home. My hub had the pork chop, it was a decent size and super flavorful, it came with onions and potatoes, and they were also amazing. Kids had Penne & Marinara, child portion, and it was big enough for them to share. Pasta was perfectly aldentè and the Marinara was perfect blend of tomatoes & garlic & EVOO! Parents had the Baked Shrimp & Steak, both were very good and my brother had the Penne Al La Vodka. Other then the kids pasta, no one had leaf overs, we cleaned every plate! Desert we had the Orange & Lemon Sorbet and the Ricotta Cake, all a perfect end to an amazing Italian Meal, Just like my Nonna used to make ❤️ We will def be back.......next time date night! Highly Recommend Authentic Italian Cuisine in Boca Raton!

Came here due to recommendations of PTs I go to and I always hear them raving the parmigiana and amazing breadsticks. I came around 1pm and it wasn't busy on a weekday so I get to choose the table where I wanted to seat. It was humid so though they have nice outdoor seating outside I opted to seat indoors. What I like about this place is you won't smell like pizza like Dominic's and the like. Don't get me wrong , I love Dominic as well but if I have to be somewhere else after dinner, this is where I will get my parmigiana.. Very nice male servers and patient attended to me. Breadsticks he served on the table were to die for and my eggplant parmigiana arrived freshly made with pasta. Delicious so I was very happy and full. Serving was gigantic for me so I brought home some leftovers. I took a picture of lunch menu and noticed that price in the menu and what I paid for is different. Note that $12 eggplant parmigiana with breadsticks is still very reasonable IMO. I was told lunch menu was old menu. So check the price with them for lunch before you order so no surprises.

One year ago, my fiancée and I celebrated our engagement at Nonna’s Trattoria. I was looking for one of the best Italian restaurants in my area to get engaged. After a hard decision, I decided to take her to this restaurant to pop the question. Since I knew she was going to say YES to my question, I asked her in front of all the patrons who were dining inside the dinning room. Everybody cheered for us happily, but I would have never imagined that someone would be so happy for us to the extent to which he or she would end up paying for our dining check. I cannot be any more grateful to the philanthropist who picked up our tab that night. We are also very thankful to Susanna, the General Manager, and Donna, our server, for making that night as wonderful as they made it be for us. We have continued to patronize this delicious restaurant since then. Thanks-A-Lot Philanthropist and Nonna’s Team!

10.01.2022 Saturday Arrived 9pm. Seated immediately. It was busy and bustling (like the place to be!) but was winding down. Very lively and felt very European ambiance.

Ordered the Lemoncello Martini for 2. They were exceptional. Very delicious. They came promptly. It was busy but came sooner than expected. Had 3 more throughout the night.

Started with 1. Grilled artichokes, 2. Grilled octopus, and 3. Prosciutto wrapped Melon. Each was visually beautiful and the taste was amazing. When it came out I knew it would be delicious. Again we were in no rush and it came out promptly fresh and visually appetizing. I could not name a favorite of the 3. Each I wanted more. But the octopus was best I have ever had. And the Prosciutto was really delicious.

Next we had a meat lovers pizza and it was made with superior meats and delicious sauce. The crust was everything, right amount of crispy and chew. Cheese was just right, not too much and not too little.

And we had the Special Pasta of the day. With mushrooms and sausage in a cream sauce. I was expecting a pappardelle pasta, long and flat, however it was not. But we moved on and it was great.

There was a waiter Sergio who was A+ and really did a great job. A real pro who had an ease and knowledge of the menu. However our waiter was not as great; just average and not as smooth as Sergio. Fortunately Sergio did walk by and we were able to engage with him. Definitely will ask for him again. The younger waiter was ok... just needs to mirror Sergio. But the experience was made amazing by Sergio.

I did get to speak to the bartender and compliment her Lemoncello Martini. She was appreciative.

Also to note. Bathroom was clean and had ample towels. This is a huge sign of good ownership and management. So many restaurants do not have a clean...

Our experience at Trattoria Nonna was incredibly disappointing, to say the least.

We were simply filled with excitement, nothing more. Our real estate agent, who was showing us properties in the area, suggested we stop for drinks at one of her favorite places in the neighborhood. Excited to celebrate finding a property we liked, we entered Trattoria Nonna with high hopes. We sat at the bar.

Unfortunately, our hopes were quickly dashed when we encountered the bartender, a blonde woman who seemed to exude rudeness from the moment we approached the bar. Instead of a warm welcome, she greeted us with a sour attitude. As we were happily discussing our property search, she abruptly interrupted with a snide condescending remark, "uh where did you guys go for happy hour?" Her demeanor was not only judgmental it was unwelcoming and downright offensive and disrespectful.

As if her initial behavior wasn't off-putting enough, her attitude continued throughout our brief time at the bar. When my wife ordered a martini, the bartender responded with a remarkably judgmental tone, “You sure about that?” implying it wasn't a good choice due to alcohol content. Her comments were not only unprofessional but also insulting.

Shocked and disheartened by the bartender's demeanor, we made the decision to leave the establishment before even placing our order. It was clear that Trattoria Nonna was not the welcoming and enjoyable dining or drinking experience we had hoped for in the Boca Raton area.

The behavior displayed by the bartender at Trattoria Nonna was utterly unacceptable, unprofessional, and appalling. We will not be returning to this restaurant and will certainly not recommend it to friends or acquaintances. It's truly unfortunate that such behavior tarnished what could have been a pleasant and...

This is what you don’t do when you are short staffed. We arrived on time for our reservation and were told we would have to wait 15 minutes. OK fine, we can get a drink at the bar and wait. Problem #1 - there was only 1 bartender, and the bar and restaurant were packed. Clearly she was overwhelmed. Patience, no problem. After waiting 1/2 and hour we were told another 20 minutes! What! We are finally seated, but no server in sight. After asking for water we had to wait again, and were told it was because they didn’t have any glasses. We place our drink orders and again we wait, the server seemed to have disappeared. Apparently he was arguing with the bartender who lost our drink order. The bartender told the server to “shut up”. To make a long painful story short, we left 1-1/2 hours after our reservation without receiving our drinks or even a basket of bread. To make matters worse the owner’s daughter told us we were given preferential seating and that we were rude for leaving. Apparently preferential seating is being seated 45 minutes after your reservation time. I understand being understaffed and overwhelmed, but you need to communicate with the diners. Neither the owner or her daughter cared to step in and help the bartender or servers. All that needed to be done was to give diners a basket of bread and a smile, not attitude. I’ve been here before and the food was great. I’m not sure when I...
