Dos Eppi's — Restaurant in Defiance Township

Very good so far but I've only tried a few items. I love their enchiladas cause they make them EXACTLY like I do at home! So if I dont want to make them...I've got somewhere to get them. Their the only restaurant I've encountered that makes an enchilada gravy from a flour rue instead of a sauce from chiles. That's how I like it. And yes...they use El Milagro corn tortillas...just how I like it. The carnitas street tacos were a bit bland for my liking but tastes better with the salsa. I loooove their Puerto Rican rice and beans! They are obviously homemade and very tasty! The beef empanadas were a no for me...they were greasy and dry. My daughter tried the fish tacos and she loved them. Menu is a bit pricier than I expected but I'll definitely be back to try more things on the menu! The white lady taking and serving orders is always nice...

This place rocks! I've been hearing great things about Dos Eppi's for a while, and my wife and I finally made it in. Now, we feel like we've been missing out! We loved the Puerto Rican rice and beans; we had Queso Bowls, one with pork and one barbacoa. Plenty of fresh toppings are added to your liking. We also had the tostones, which were a real eye-opener. We liked them so much, we ordered a dozen tostones to go. Tried this place with my best friend. She had one of the bowls and I had the fish tacos. We also got queso dip with chips and salsa. The service was friendly, the food was fresh and the atmosphere was nice and unique with the hand-painted murals. We each paid about 16 dollars for our meals.
