KFC — Restaurant in Defiance Township

Not even worth a one star. Placed a $60 mobile order went in to pickup with an estimated 20 min pick up time. and was told that the 2 ladies walking out as we were walking in, had taken our order. Thought they were remaking our order. Waited about 15 mins and approached the counter to be told that they didnt have enough chicken and it would be be at least a 25 min wait. I asked for a refund. General manager ms. Johnson told me I had to use the mobile app to refund my order. So I went out to my car to start the refund and wasnt able to because they had marked the order as completed. So I went back into the store and told them. The manager called the general manager who had already left by this time and put her on speaker phone. She then proceeded to tell me that she didnt appreciate me yelling and being rude to the staff and that I have to contact the 1800 number. I never once yelled or was rude. So I call the corporate number. 2hrs in and still havnt received a refund. Corporate told me they will call me at another time once they process my request. Went through drive thru. Person at window first complains of it being a long day. Was asked to park to wait on food. After about 10 minute wait, a different boy came out slowly. No greeting. No smile. No apology for the wait. Just asked, "Original?". I replied ""Yes, thank you", and he walked away. I decided to check my order and noticed right away that they forgot the Cole Slaw. I got the boys attention as he came back out to deliver another order to a car that had been waiting longer than me. He delivered their order and proceeded to walk to drive thru window and knocked on the glass until other employee opened the window.. Told him I needed the Cole Slaw and waited at window blocking drive- thru traffic from approaching. After a couple minutes he was handed the item and he handed it to me. Again, no smile, no apology and he left. I proceeded to drive a half hour home. Upon retrieving the items from the bag, my husband realized that we had no gravy either! I don't know what happened to KFC but over the years it just feels like Everytime we go the workers really don't want to be there.... Like you can here it in their voice. Some are great don't get me wrong.. Also the last 5 or even more times we've gone they are OUT of chicken. Like really KFC is out of chicken. It's like they don't have a system in place like other fast food places that can predict what they need for the day to make. And this would be around 4/5. Thankfully there's a Dairy Queen next to it. I used to love going to KFC. Now whenever we plan on going I have to make 2 lists of orders. One for KFC and one for if they out of chicken what to get from Dairy Queen. Last time we went we waited maybe 10/15mins for the chicken. But they did give us a lava cake for apologies for the wait that was nice. That day was great. Felt like a win to actually get chicken!! When they have the food it's great tasting as always. But my family knows to not count on them...
