Meek's Pastry Shop — Restaurant in Defiance Township

Disappointed.  When I ordered a full sheet cake, I asked if you could scan a picture onto it.  The young lady (maybe Anna? not sure) said that you could, so I sent a beautiful photo to Kim.  For two days, I was so excited to have a cool cake for our event.  But that is not what I received.  It was a rendition of the photo drawn in frosting.  To be fair, the person did a nice job, but it was not what I ordered.  I said that it wasn't the picture I sent, your employee contradicted me, and that's when I learned that you can't make photo image cakes.  Both employees seemed put off by my reaction and seemed quite indifferent to my situation.  Customer service is just as important as any product you offer.  Your business failed on both counts.  The cake itself was dry and basically crumbled when you tried to eat it.  Not worth almost $64. ...

I love Meeks. Best donuts in town. The star cookies are a favorite as well they are sooo good!!. i have memories of sharing a sub lunch with my dad as a little kid. I had Meeks make our wedding cake. i wanted a delicious cake and they did not fail to deliver! My one and only complaint is simply that they do not take debit cards... it is incredibly inconvenient...If i could change anything about meeks it would be this one issue... You can get a tablet/i pad that takes a debit card... It would pay for itself just with the amount of buisness that has probably been lost by not...

I grew up in Defiance. As a kid I always loved the maple filled sticks!!! I don’t remember even trying another donut there (but I am sure I did). A few years ago we brought my daughter and grandkids to visit family and had to stop here more than once. As luck would have it, two years in a row I have been through for my job, first working in Fort Wayne one day and Toledo the next. Guess what’s in between? Home and Meek’s Pastry Shop!! I got 4 maple filled stick and 2 cinnamon rolls for the road. Don’t judge! I didn’t eat them all at the same time, but...
