Dunkin' — Restaurant in Del City

This isn’t speaking on the quality of food but the customer service. I went to Dunkin like I always do and ordered what I order every time. The price was more than the common amount I pay every time so I stated I believed something was wrong and I was being overcharged. The lady stated that the donut prices went up. I asked to speak with the manager and she picked up her glasses and told me she was the manager. I had a small feeling that she wasn’t but I decided to believe her. Wrong choice. I paid then as I was waiting for my order I pulled out an old receipt to compare it to the one today. The drink was what I was charged .50 cents more. I went back and showed both receipts and asked why I was being charged .50 cents more from the old receipt and what is advertised on their menu. The real manager came by and asked me what the problem was and I stated it. I was given a refund for the drink. If you go there and need to speak to the manager don’t believe the worker if she tries to lie that she is it because the manager will have a name tags stating manager. Okay, please let me explain the reason for the low rating. My rating is not based on the quality of their food nor service, because if that were the case, i'd rate the highest because i love Dunkin Donuts,but is based on a disturbing incident that me&my son witnessed that us upset & surprised.As we were exiting (it was closing time), an employee was throwing away a HUGE amount of donuts. We stopped& my son(jokingly)said" You can give us a fdw of those since your throwing them in the trash?"& she explained that she wasnt allowed & that there were cameras everywhere. Granted,my son was truly joking,but she stated they throw out MANY every closing.I was just shocked& disappointed because that food could be donated to a Church, Shelter, Schools or so many other organizations or ways to get it to Oklahomans who are really hungry..IT IS NO SECRET REGUARDING THE HUNGER PROBLEMS THAT EXIST HERE IN OKC..SO PLEASE DUNCAN DONUTS..FIND ANOTHER DISPOSAL METHOD FOR ALL THAT FOOD..LIKE SUMONE'S HUNGRY BELLY..THANK YOU& KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MAKING GREAT...

100% our go to dunkin. i cannot stress to you enough that if you live between this location & the location on 23rd - GO TO THIS ONE. being a barista will really make you notice and appreciate the amount of effort that you can see being put into the drinks you're paying for and it makes all the difference. ive had two employees here express to me that they take pride in what they serve (in response to me complimenting the cross hatch drizzle on my cold foam) and hearing that from a dunkin employee of all places is SO nice to hear. knowing that dunkin isnt one of the 'higher end' coffee places and still caring enough to just make your drinks look pretty earns so many points in my book. also because both of those compliments came after receiving a super half-assed drizzle from the 23rd st location. i cant speak for the food items as ive never tried any but their service is normally great & donut selection isnt always completely available but when it is, theyre pretty good. i think the lack of drivethru really helps them focus on...
