Captain D's — Restaurant in DeLand

The food and deals are great but the service was more that needs to be worked on.. I went up at 10 pm on a friday night night not 1 car in the parking lot (open till midnight) I called in an order so it could be ready when I got there (I live around the corner). I went through the drive through and asked if I can pick up my order here she said yes come around. I waited for about 1 minute before knocking on the window, no answer. Another minute went by, I knock again I see no one, So I drive around and walk inside no one around, I yell Hello no one to be found. I walk in the back (in the kitchen and yell HELLO) No one, I walk into the dining room and yell HELLO no one around.. I want back to the front and I see 1 person in the kitchen and she says has anyone helped you? No I've been yelling for someone but have not seen anyone, she said let me get someone .. About 3 minutes go by and she comes back to the from saying did anyone help you? Nope not yet so she goes to get someone again. 3 moire minutes pass and she come back and said has anyone helped you yet? NOPE no one yet.. She walks into another area coming back telling me the girl for the front is in the bathroom and will be right out. 6 minutes later the girl (from the bathroom) comes to help me but can't find my order and walks to the back then comes back to the front and is confused about my order. After about 3 more minutes, finally the manager walks to the front with 2 more employees to help with my order.. I've now been there for over 15 minutes for a 20 second transaction that was supposed to take place..

I called ahead of time and got there within 2 minutes of the call and no one was around. Very unprofessional They knew I was coming yet took their time doing whatever it was leaving the store unattended. The food was not even hot, I was lucky to have luke...

Today was not a good for this rest. I wasn't able to get an advertised sandwich because they didn't have the LG. bun for it. I asked if they could put it on a smaller bun and was told no, they had no buns at all. I then ask if all. The sandwich items could be put on a plate and was told that just wouldn't work. I then ask for a 2 pc. dinner, husband ask for a 3 pc. dinner. We had to repeat our request twice,then ordered salads as a side(twice). When meals were ready, we had to ask for the salads again and dressing. We were both given 3 pc. meals. The floors were dirty, and there were 4 partially filled condiment cups and spilled catsup all over the counter from before we got there. I had to take 2 extra cups and push the mess to the side so I could get what I needed, only after asking for the cups to be refilled. Mess left there. The vinegar bottle caps were filthy as were the bottles(3). The mess was still there when we were finished. There was no soap in the ladies room and the towel dispenser was broken. The thought of employees not washing their hands after using the bathroom made me sick to my stomach. When we left, I told the women working about the bathroom, and was told"oh,ok". And the floors needed to be swept, it was dirty. I have never been so disappointed in a Capt. D's restraunt in my life, it will be a very long time for me to go back to this one. It needs...
