TL;DR, Nick is the best boss I have ever had. If you want to work at Dominos, request District Manager Nick's store. He values everyone, builds great teams, and is simply an awesome man to work for.
Food goes in the oven just before delivery so it is always freshly baked and hot. (Don't listen to the "my food was cold" reviewers, that's a bunch of extremely suspicious bologna. I had to take care not to burn my fingers under the box every time I handed a customer his food. The delivery bags hold in the steam!) Carryout orders get prioritized so customers don't have to stand around waiting; most customers use the app so they arrive perfectly on time to collect their meal (that's pretty nifty).
Best employment experience I have had in Delaware. In my opinion, the best Dominos team in Delaware. My coworkers were very experienced and hardly ever made mistakes. I remember only two times when we didn't catch an order mixup and both times there was an understandable reason (just trust me on that). The team, especially management, works criminally long hours per week for less than minimum wage (taxes are absurd, and people are working about 70 or more hours a week for pittance) yet maintains a clean store and pretty good morale. Great people here; everyone was very respectful, polite, pleasant, and helpful. Delivery areas are probably the best in the state. The traffic is heavy, which is tiring and dangerous to drive in all the time until 1 am every night. If you deliver at night, bring a flashlight because some destinations don't leave the light on so you can even see the house number... Yeah lol customers have no full perspective, but I didn't meet any overtly mean or disrespectful customers while working at this specific Dominos store. In this economic warfare COVID communist-socialist period when people would rather be unemployed, every Dominos is looking for help. I was even asked to set my own hours of availability! If you want to get some fun experience working at Dominos, apply to this...
Read moreOn 07/24, Driver showed up and takes the food out of the hot bag in the car and walks up to my door with the food not in the hot bag. He handed me the wrong order then leaves. Returns over 30 minutes later with my correct order. No phone call from the store or the driver prior to returning. Driver gives me my food and calls me a "d*ck" for not telling him he was giving me the wrong order. I ordered a pasta, a sandwich, and wings. He handed me two medium pizzas. Huge difference and the label is on the box. While the driver was still here on his second visit, he requests the wrong order back so he can throw it away. He was very rude about it. The driver and manager made zero attempts to apologize for their mistake and I was mistreated because I refused to give them the other order. The manager needs to be re-trained on Domino's SOPs because they are not supposed to ask for the food back once the customer has it because of food safety regulations. The manager should of also called me and apologized. What should of happened here is the manager should of called me immediately after the store found out I got the wrong order, apologized, credited me my order, inform me I was allowed to keep the food, then assure me that another driver would be out to deliver to me what I ordered. Management's lack of training wanted to be right instead of making it right. I think this manager needs to be possibly suspended and be retrained and the driver should be terminated. Its up to them what they want to do with this. I still have not received a phone call or a credit back. I do not like how I was treated. I have spent hundred of dollars at this store and they treated me like my business was not...
Read moreI was notified the driver Jason was leaving the store at 7:37pm with my order of 5 large pizzas. I placed such a big order because I have several of my young grandkids spending the night and after a day spent swimming in the pool they are hungry and exhausted. Jason arrived at 8:10pm, I paid him and he gave me my order. Once I got inside I noticed the address label was not correct and quickly ran outside to catch him before he left. Once I showed Jason the error he took back the pizza and left, my grandkids were very upset to realize that their "dinner" was leaving with the driver. I called the store and spoke to Sestilio, who informed me he was the general manager. After I explained what happen, he told me he would speak to the driver and call me back. A few minutes later he called back and told me they would make my order over again and throw in a 2 liter of soda for all my inconvenience. It is now 8:35pm, an hour and a half after my order was initially placed and I have no idea when our food will be here. I'm cooking hot dogs for the younger kids because they are falling sleep. I am so insulted that after all this, I am being offered a .99 cent 2 liter of soda. This is very unprofessional and not a good way to make your customers feel...
