I gave 1 star and honestly I think that was being generous considering how rudely the manager treated me. One the way to work, My wife and I stopped by to grab a meal in the drive through while rushing to work. Once we got on the highway, we realized that we got the wrong order. I called the McDonalds and explained what happened and that I didnt have time to come back and the manager Anna was very nice on the phone and told me that she wrote my name down and to stop by in the morning and tell the manager that would be working what happened and I would get a free meal. THEN.... The next morning we stopped in and told the manager what happened and she was so rude and told me that since I didnt have the food that I was giving or the receipt, she couldn't not give me any food. So I went out to the car, found the receipt in a bag of trash. After bringing in the receipt, the manager accused me of picking a receipt off the ground and said that I was lying to get free food. I even showed her the phone number to the McDonalds on my cell phone from when I called and made the complaint the night before....Isnt that the worst possible customer service you have ever heard of?? Read moreThe Newark Delaware McDonald's in the Glasgow area to be specific has become worse then it was ever was in the past especially since Covid 19 either getting your wrong especially if you customized your sandwiches. Most of the time they forget to include all of your ordered items even though we paid for the food and of course by the time you pull away from the window and you didn't catch it well too bad for you and whomever else placed their order. We normally notice it when get home and pull everything out of the bags. The last order we sent our son to pick it up and they messed up on the condiments on our sandwiches that weren't missing from the order including other items chicken McNuggets and 4 apple pies were also missing. So you would think you could at least be able to call the store to either give them a chance to either replace or give us credit for the missing and the incorrect items well that tends to be an impossible task to reach anyone especially since Covid 19 started. Read moreIt was McDonald’s. This one is clean and modern. It’s actually one of the nicest McDonsld’s I’ve wound up at. I forget who the comedian was who made this joke about another “iconic” standby. His comments were exceptionally appropriate. (I know. Get to it.) He said, “You don’t go to __. You just kind of wind up there.” And so it was on this night at this McDonald’s. I tried to use a coupon from my app. Big mistake and when I went to the counter for help all I received was a shrug of the shoulders. Klewless. Eventually I received what I deserved for coming here. My burger was reasonably assembled and edible. My fries, however, were the opposite of limp and greasy. They were crispy and dehydrated. The best thing about my food was the beverage. It was cold, bubbly, and liquid. It’s a shame McDonalds has raised prices so much and hasn’t elevated the quality an equal amount. It’s cheaper to go to Wendy’s and the food is much tastier there. Seriously. At worst the cost is the same but the food is better at Wendy’s. Really. Try...
