On Sunday afternoon my family and I ordered food via the Drive Thru. We ordered two fish combos and one cheeseburger combo with a special request of no salt on the fries. One of the cheeseburgers had no pickles and both fish sandwiches and French fries were cold. I drove back through to request the pickles and to inform them about the cold fish sandwiches and French fries. The Manager, Annlise took the already eaten fries and one of the fish sandwiches through the window and told us to park ahead. A young man, Davon who was very polite and professional came to the car to give us the "new order", which had the SAME fries that was placed in another box and SAME Fish Sandwich. How disgusting and unprofessional. Prior to ordering our food via the Drive Thru, we used the Women bathroom, which was just as disgusting with dirty bathroom stalls and dirty tissues/hand towels thrown over the floor. There was no soap in one of the dispensers. You could clearly tell the staff had not cleaned the bathroom for a long time based on the dirty toilet tissue on the bathroom floor and the hand towels spewing over the trash bin in the corner that also had dirty hand towels laying beside the trash bin.
This McDonald's really needs new Management or at least a seasoned/experienced Manager to provided full training to its Manager. There are too many options available in Dover including other McDonald's on Route 13 because this location is horribly managed with...
Read moreDecided to use the drive-thru on my way to work. Pulled right up to the order board, ordered a couple of breakfast sandwiches and pulled forward. There were only three vehicles ahead of me but it took 10 minutes for me to get to the service window. When I got to the window there wasn't anyone there although I had just watch someone slowly hand items out of the window to the vehicle in front of me. As it turned out there was only one person working all of customer service and I had to wait until that person finished with the counter customer before I received my meal. The food was fine but not having enough people to provide proper customer service is bad management. There is a WaWa a 1/2 mile up the road where I will be getting my breakfast sandwiches from now on.
Follow up: I filed a complaint with McDonald's corporate and they had the franchise owner follow up with me. The owner informed me that a service line employee had called out that morning and that is why they were short staffed. They also provided me with a coupon for a free...
Read moreI think the reviews are just a reflection of the bad management this place has. I called in to confirm an order I placed management wasn't friendly. I send people to pick up my order with my order number that I had received on the app. The guy at the drive-thru was okay but he did not hear my order number right and kept saying the wrong order number, so I tried to clarify my order number to him. All of a sudden management came in and started saying they did not had any order for me. I tried to confirm my order number but she would just be VERY RUDE. I called in to see what had happened and the same management answered the phone after me explaining the issue instead of me being upset because she hadn't confirmed my order number. She started screaming at me LITERALLY screaming. Sorry but I just had to hang up this call. I don't understand how can a person with such a bad temperament can manage a place. I used to prefer this place instead of other closer McDonald's, but not anymore DEFINITELY WON'T BE RETURNING TO THIS HORRIBLE...
