I just had one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had at a Wawa. Now, I am at my local Wawa at least once a day, everyday. Today however my life took me past a different Wawa that is about a mile away from the one I'm accustomed to. To start, the instant coffee machine was out of order which was a bit disappointing. I had already prepped my coffee cup with creamer and sugar so upon realization of the out of order machine, I asked the coffee attendant where she would like me to dispose of the liquid. At first she gave me a very distasteful look then told me "well of course, the trash can!" Then being very familiar with Wawa Food and products, I asked the ladies behind the food counter if their mac and cheese was fresh or if it had been sitting a little while keeping warm. Now, I eat Wawa mac and cheese way more than I care to admit so I know what the difference is. They told me the mac and cheese was so fresh it did not even have a spoon in it yet-their words exactly. I excitedly ordered one at the screen. When I went to get my food I took a look at it. The mac and cheese was chunky and not creamy in the slightest bit. When I nicely told the girl behind the counter that this is not fresh maybe there is more somewhere that the other lady was originally speaking about, this girl gave me attitude and started to tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. I then asked for the manager who came out with the same attitude and repeated the same things I have already been told. I then asked her if I could just have a refund because I am not eating what they gave me. She then decided to finish fussing with another product then went up to the register with me to issue the refund. I attempted to apologize to her explaining that I know what Wawa mac and cheese should be like and that's not it. She proceeded to tell me "Whatever. You're wrong and don't know what your talking about it. It is how it is". Needless to say, I will never be going back to this Wawa again! If anyone happens to be in the area of Christiana Hospital and are looking for a good coffee, I recommend skipping the Wawa right near there and instead taking a right down Harmony Road to Kirkwood Highway. There is a Wawa on the left at the end of that road and is much better, in not only food but also customer service!

Another great experience at Wawa that I proceeded to have in the wake of my role in missing an important meal. Being without the presence of my usual hotel breakfast that I usually get in the form of a complimentary meal without having to spontaneously pay. I came here to settle my needs. Using the made to order kiosks, I was able to get myself a breakfast bagel sandwich that tasted great, with a presence of sizzling bacon, an egg omelet, and American Cheese impressing me in the wake of my mistake that I crucially made. It was a great sandwich, and renewed my admiration for the food of the Delaware Valley, and the hoagies that are offered at this jawn.

This is my favorite Wawa to stop at in the area. It's very clean, well kept, and organized. The staff at this location are awesome and very friendly. I love that all the Wawa stores have a recycling bin for your empty bottles and cans. The hot snack bar here is always well stocked with the normal Wawa options and deli staff are quick to get you your custom orders. Best Wawa in the area would highly recommend this location!

I am a single mother with two children! I need every single dollar I have! I came to your WaWa located on Stanton Ogletown Road located in Newark Delaware. I purchased the two for three dollar Pepsi's and a 24 oz. coffee for $1.89. I swiped my card to pay for the two Pepsi's and I then handed the cashier (who appeared to be under the influence, the customer before me said to the cashier as she was leaving to "have a better day" because she also saw that she appeared to be under the influence) a ten dollar bill. I didn't realize until I had left that she only gave me $5.11 back in change. I came back to the store after I got out of class and Stephanie the Store Manager was there. Why she's a store manager for your establishment, for your business I will never understand. She has the worst customer service of a manager I have ever seen. Stephanie printed out a copy of the receipt because I wasn't given a receipt and it showed that the register, or the computer didn't take the Card I double checked the amount I had more than enough to cover the three dollars. Instead of your store manager returning the three dollars and applying it to my card like I wanted. She instead did nothing! She told me that I would have to bring back the two sodas that were gone by that time to return them and reapply the payment to my card to get the three dollars back, even though she was able to find the receipt in her computer. What since does that make from a business perspective? Which is why your company needs to stop hiring people who don't at least have an associate's degree in business management to be managers because they lack the common sense to realize that she just lost a customer and thousands of dollars because I come in WaWa almost everyday over three dollars! There is no way! No way I'll spend another dime with your company! That money was going towards my being able to get my daughter to Summer Camp because I spend $8.40 every day for both of our all day bus passes! So it's not just three dollars and that store manager Stephanie should be fired! I want The contact information for the General Manager because Stephanie the Store Manager lied and said she didn't have her contact information. I emailed corporate and reported everything!

On 06/21/19 the Assistant General Manager refunded my $3.00 and charged it to the correct card. You think she would have just refunded my money due to the inconvenience, and poor customer service, but no. Which upset my parents who stated they are no longer giving this company another dime, so now because of their company greed they lost not one but three customers and...
