Wild Mike's Delhi — Restaurant in Delhi Township

I wish I could say all good things about Wild Mike's in Delhi, but I would be lying if that's all I did say.

Starting with the good: The wings are a very good size. The Wednesday Special on traditional wings is a good deal, but...

would be a much better deal if the following weren't also true: The wings are somehow too dry, and hardly even have the smell of a chicken wing at first smell. I don't know if it's the frying oil that is used, but something is drying them out and taking away from the natural smell of the delicious chicken I'd expect to smell... no matter what sauce is on them.

This leads me to the sauce. The Hot Sauce lacks in too many ways to break it all down. A bottle of Frank's Red Hot, mixed with a little butter, really would have been waaayyyy better than whatever concoction they came up with. I also bought the Blue Cheese to dip them in, but that Blue Cheese wasn't very good either. With everything said here, and I wish I didn't have to say it, because I really wanted to like them. But, with all said, even at a hugely discounted price, and by quantity... believing I got more than the amount I paid for - I still can't say it was worth it, and that's just too bad, because I went into it really wanting...

This isn't the place it was originally. I've been there many times as my son-in-law used to love their wings, but I'm not sure what he has to say about it because they drive from union ky to eat their and today I couldn't find a good thing to say. My grandson order 8 wings only got 5 we had to ask then was never given a response they come out and sat them on the table no one ever stopped and ask if we needed refills, we stopped them every time for every thing we wanted or needed, but a waitress had plenty of time to sit at a table with someone (hopefully it was her dad) but regardless your working try to make your customers as happy as whoever you sit with. In the past, this place was packed on fathers day but it wasn't today and I think I know why. I don't even remember a manager or owner stopping by to talk with customers, are them days over?? I know the price hasn't dropped off any but I think everything else has. 30 plus year Delhi township resident and not used to that I hope it turns around or I won't go back. On 9/14/2025 at 5:30PM I ordered wings with Carolina Gold and Mikes Mix via carryout. When I got home I discovered the wings had no sauce. I called the Delhi location and asked for the manager. The manager (a male) greeted me in a somber and apathetic tone, sounding clearly annoyed out the gate. I explained the situation to him and he dishearteningly offered to credit me the cost of the sauces as credit...so something like $3 of product when the wings were around $12. I laughed and hung up. To the owner of this location: it's not your customers fault that your employees mess up, nor is it the customers fault that your managers hate their jobs/life. I should have been credited $10 at the minimum as serving wings without sauce is a little ridiculous and I'm not about to drive back up there (a 4 mile drive) for a $3 cup of sauce. Train your managers to provide friendly and proper customer service or tell them find a job that they actually like doing. To be fair I have been coming to this location for 20 years and this was my first issue. My advice would be to sit down with this manager and tell him to either get it together...or...
