Taste of China — Restaurant in Delmar

We ordered from here for the very first time last night. We ordered (2) fried wontons and were given fried cheese wontons instead. There was an eggroll missing from our order. The eggroll we did get was very sweet which was a tad off-putting. You don't expect an eggroll to be sweet. The seafood soup was great and full of seafood. The fried rice had no flavor. It was just rice and quite boring. The BBQ spareribs were okay but not something to get excited about. At least they weren't drowned in a lot of sauce.

Finally, the Singapore Mei Fun was dry as a bone and not spicy at all even though it is supposed to be. My daughter loves spicy food, and this let her down. She had to pour a ton of soy sauce on it to...

I wouldn’t suggest nobody to even order food from here smh ...me and my wife decided to drive all the way from seaford to Delmar just to try their food since we heard such good things about it .. well we ordered a large pork fried rice and a order of chicken wings and she said 15 min so 15 mins go by and we come back and we get ready to eat I opened the pork fried rice and it smelled just like dish water and don’t get me started on the chicken , the chicken had black hair wrapped tight around it smh I went back in the store to show him he was in there cooking with his bare hands while whiping his face I’m just turned off from Chinese places perioddd... I will rate it below 0. It was an order for carry out. We ordered 2 veg chowmeins but we found that we have been given vegetables and rice. Again, we ordered 2 chicken chowmeins and 1 shrimp chowmeins but was given chicken and shrimp fried rice and rice was not freshly cooked and already had some other meat (beef or pork) in it. The lady who took the order was not welcoming, bad communication and rude.

Experience was bad.the place was also not clean. Don’t know how they got 4.4...
