Pizza King — Restaurant in Delmar

Hmm so I was recently told I had to try this place that is in delmar. So we ordered last night. At 61 dollars for 2 subs, and burger basket and a 30 dollar can dip they need to do much better. My daughters double cheeseburher looked like a slider or kids meal. Deff didnt order a lids meal. The subs were ok, toppings missing and the crab dip was a joke. If your going to charge that much for a "Large' crab dip it should be much better. More bread than anything, the crab taste was over powering all you can taste is crab. And after reading the reviews and seeing the Manger or owner making smart remarks back to reviews it's obvious this is being ran by immature young people. Do better, I highly doubt we will ever come back. Had high hopes after my experience at delmar pizza was horrible but evidently the area just doesn't have any decent places for food anymore. And I'm not interested in any excuses, I worked back of house on the line for 20 years. The things I'm seeing are unacceptable in a kitchen, I would never send out a plate or take out order like these. Never !! But I ran my line with alot more discipline for your craft. First time visiting a Pizza King and was not impressed at all after hearing such great things, about the one in Seaford. Got a large Pizza which is $14.99 after adding around 5 toppings it was $27 ridiculous prices for toppings. The pizza was very mediocre and not what I’d consider thin crust, which every place I’ve ever had it should be almost like a cracker consistency. This was just very chewy normal crust. The food here is always great and I always have my company lunch ordered from here. Tonight I went in and I stood in there for about 10 minutes before someone even said hello. Be mindful there is about 11 people in the back. 2 on their phones 1 with an ear pod in. Another customer who had been waiting for 20 minutes said this lady hadn’t been helped is someone going to help her. 1 young lady said oh I’m not the register, needless to say my order was ordered online and already paid for.
