I gave this location one star solely for the woman at LabCorp. I had made an appointment to get blood work done, and I was given the option on the paperwork to indicate if I had fasted before my appointment or not. Being the honest person that I am, I wrote that I had not fasted. My work schedule does not allow me to skip meals. Today was the only day that I would be able to leave work early to get this done. When I arrived, there was no option to check in at the kiosks provided by the door. I notified the salesperson at the front register and she seemed inconvenienced by the behavior of the assigned phlebotomist, stating that she had just gotten herself an ice cream moments before heading back to the room. I was told to knock on the door and speak with her that way. After I did so, I was informed that because I did not fast, I would not be able to have blood work taken today... See, normally I wouldn't have an issue with what she said, it's the way she said it. As a former employee of Walgreens, I know how customers and patients need to be treated, especially when it comes to the medical side of things. She clearly did not want to perform her job and I was an inconvenience to her. I went to the front desk and spoke to the original salesperson that I had seen coming in, explaining what happened. She alerted another employee who took down my information for their manager to call me tomorrow to discuss this ignorant woman's behavior. I don't like getting people in trouble, but I was so appalled by the way I was treated and dismissed when I told her that I had not fasted. If the application did not allow me to continue after I indicated that I did not fast, that would be one thing. But I was able to continue filling out the paperwork... I was informed that this was the second complaint this woman has received today alone. If you need to get lab work done, go to an actual LabCorp site. Walgreens has failed in this area by...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's very challenging/frustrating for me to get a Rx home delivery from this local Walgreens in Delmar to my home in Mardela! I've been dealing with Walgreens Pharmacy well over 50 years! This company has got to do better by their customers. Their customer service over the phone is lousy! THE WAY THIS CURRENT ECONOMY IS, IT'S JUST A MATTER OF TIME! (3-6-25)
My recent Xperience (5-3-21) at this Delmar Walgreens, was met with a friendly cashiers and technician. They are always pleasant and kind. It doesn't cost very much to be nice, kind and helpful, to all of your regular customers that they may see on an ongoing basis! Hence, the added star for this review.
My recent interactions on (3/4/20) with the Delmar Walgreens, the Pharmacy Department has really become very frustrating to deal with! Ergo, this revised review. I'm going back to CVS for a while until they get their act together! This Walgreens seemed to be going down hill! Per my last review, this Walgreens don't seem to pride themselves to good relations/ customer service! I have been accustomed to good C/S while dealing with WALGREENS for over 40 years! The pharmacist that I dealt with on today seem to have a smirk on his face! The other employees/associates in the store were very helpful. Hence, the two stars!!
I go to Walgreens pharmacies to get my flu shot annually! I have also been able to get diabetic supples for the most part without any complications. The Pharmacy staff are professional as well as the other associates; they are friendly & kind; which is a rarity in business these days! Have been doing business with them over 30+ years as they're a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey aren't even open their stated reduced hours. They don't answer the phone. You place refill orders online and they don't meet committed time. Even though they have 2 or more people inside working the pharmacy register, they hardly ever open the drive through. So you have to go stand in line behind 8 other people, including people who are sick and coughing/spewing into the air. I live with immunocomprimized person, and this just isn't a safe idea to stand there this long with sick people. I had blood pressure med on auto-refill, it didn't, I logged in online and it showed 1 refill remaining, ordered on Thursday and it said it wouldn't refill until Monday at noon (2 days without meds), but not like you can call them, so later find out they weren't even open on Friday like their hours state they are, so that's why had to wait until Monday. Get there Monday at 4:45pm and prescription isn't even filled. I'm done, transferring...
