Subway — Restaurant in Delphi

Placed an online order. Within minutes of placing it, subway was calling me to tell me they didn't have the kind of bread I wanted for my sandwiches. They asked what I would like instead and I told her a refund, as I don't like any other bread. She told me she would have to leave a note for the general manager to do the refund because she couldn't. He would be in next week, on Monday. Middle of next week comes and still no refund. I call the store and the girl tells me the manager left for the day already, took my name number and inquiry and he would call me back tomorrow. No call. I call back again, I get the 'manager' and he takes my name, number and tells me he will look into it. The following week comes, still no call back, no refund. I call again, the same 'manager' answers the phone, puts me on hold, and then hangs up on me. When I called back, they stopped answering the phone. Absolutely ridiculous. Trash employees that should be FIRED!! the food probably sucks too. I ended up having to call corporate to get my money back, because the losers at this location don't know how to actually work or treat their customers. Will never be back and...

Update: their saving grace is their night staff. Their night staff is FANTASTIC and I love interacting with them. They also made some of the best sandwiches I've had from subway.

Employees acted as if me coming in and ordering sandwiches was a big inconvenience for them. I've worked food service. I understand they were hit hard at lunch, but you should give your customers a good experience, not ignore them and act passive aggressively. Customers were rude too. Don't seem to know how to make a sandwich. Got all manner of hands in my food, gloves or not, because they didn't fold it with a knife so all my fillings fell out as I tried to eat, which sucks because they also didn't put napkins in the bag. Didn't mark any of my sandwiches but shoved and squished them all into the same bag. Also didn't even ask if I wanted my receipt, just crumpled it and threw it away, so I had to review here instead of maybe a survey. Also was so focused on wishing I wasn't there that they got my order wrong anyways. Total waste of money. The only reason they got an extra star is that it was lunchtime and I'm holding out hope that they were just flustered and they aren't always...

Nice easy to access location in Delphi. Parking right up front near the door to get in. Very clean and neat. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Standard selection of salads and sandwiches, but it how you dress it up that counts! My wife likes her salads very ordinary and not very spiced up. I like my sandwich with almost all of the extras that I can fit onto a 6” sub. They take the time to heat your choice of sandwich if you want it toasted, and they always help me with the selection of sauce as a topping. Easy to get in and out of, good central location & nice...
