I am from Brooklyn NYC, we have many good pizza places. I even have clients that own famous pizzerias in NY as I am in the credit card processing business. Been in Florida for two years now and found one or two places that the pizza was really good until I found Delray Pizza. One night I just wanted a slice or two and called a couple of places and they told me they only sell pies. I found Delray Pizza through Google even though I live in Delray. They told me they sold slices so I jumped in my car and went to go get them. I actually winded up getting one of their thin crust square pizzas. And oh my God forget about very good. Let's use the word great. The crust was so crispy. The flavor was beyond what I was expecting when I bought it, even though it looks good. I can tell you this the two places that I used to get pizza from. I will never get from them again even though they were very good. I will make it a point to either drive, call or order online pizza from Delray Pizza. I wish they had five stars for restaurants that were really really good and you could add a bonus star if you found something great. Delray Pizza is great. I can tell you that square pizza that I got the thin crust one. One of them had pepperoni on it. I actually like plain better but let me tell you if you haven't tried this place yet, make it a point two try it. If you haven't tried this place yet, make it a...
Read moreBeen living in Delray beach 3-1/2 years. We've been to over 20 different places between Boynton, Delray & Boca, NOTHING Beats Delray Pizza. As a native New Yorker who KNOWS Pizza, this place passes the major tests. Crack upon fold, crunch upon 1st bite, great taste. As a person who prefers a cool slice reheated (as to not suffer gum burn) or a slightly warm slice, they get it right all the time. Even when I order a pie for takeout, Aaron and Josh will let the pie settle, then reheat before placing it in the box. Makes the crust crispier & I don't get the flavor of the cardboard box. The White Onion & Veggie slices are my favorites. Today 6/11/25 I tried their latest addition to the menu "The Brooklyn" Fresh Mozzarella, Provolone, Roasted Garlic, Upside Down Sauce. For those of you who criticize, complain, and gave 3-star reviews or less, you need to reconsider. As for the person who wrote "go to Square peg" on Atlantic Avenue, sorry, you're wrong. There's a difference between "NY Style" and everything else. True NY style in this place wins. PLUS, unlike many other places, they serve slices from opening...
Read moreI can't say anything about this place other than JUST GO. I grew up in Manhattan & usually don't take pizza in Miami seriously. My boyfriend's car dealer Tyler at Honda suggested we try this place and I told him to proceed with caution bc my opinion of him will irrevocably be altered should he insist bad pizza is good pizza....alas....a haven for my tri state trained taste buds!! The drunken grandma is my go to-sicilian style Square pizza with Vodka sauce, mozzarella, crunchy cup tomatoes and basil-so simple but literally mind blowing. I SWEAR! I also thoroughly enjoyed the Buffalo chicken pizza & look forward to trying a few different specialties that catch my eye every time I walk in. The chicken parm and meatball subs also fire-I order them on garlic bread bc not?! Extra Gravy on the side for the win!
We make the drive from west boca now almost every week since he's bought his car LOL. Employees are friendly, clearly not from here, and know what they're doing. Please be nice to them, support them with your patronage, and tip them so they don't ever close...
