The food was OK, but the service was terrible. There were too many tables for the two waitresses to handle effectively, which reflects poorly on the establishment -- not the waiters themselves, they were super busy.
Most of the time we spent there tonight was waiting to get our waitress's attention. It's not her fault, she had too many tables. We ordered appetizers and told her to come back in two minutes so we could put in our main. She didn't come back till after our app was served, then we couldn't find her. Finally she came around and took our order, then we saw it wait up at the food counter for almost 7 minutes before she brought it back to us. After she gave us the check, we waited another 22 minutes (we timed it!) for her to come back and take our credit card.
We wanted to order desserts after having a quesidilla and enchiladas, but we didn't want to wait another 30 minutes there.
The food was pretty average; the margaritias we have no complaint. But for white wine, you should chill it in a fridge before you serve it. I ordered a glass of cab sav and it was literally like warm.... I had to steal ice cubes out of my date's water to cool it down.
I really really wanted to like this place, but alas....
If you think I'm just a negative nancy, I'm in the Facebook group Delray Beach Community Forum where I post all my resturant reviews (usually 1-2 a week) if they're good so I can spread the news. Google Reviews is where I warn people, and this is one of the few places I feel...
Read moreEvery single time we come here (6x now) we expect it to be better and it isn’t.
4-5 months ago when it opened we gave them a break on not having happy hour menus… now? What is the excuse?! The servers don’t even inform anyone what’s on happy hour and what is not until you’re ordering and most times not at all! Owner - PLEASE CREATE A MENU. Not just an outdoor chalk sign.
In addition, they should add more margaritas on the happy hour instead of just the house that they pre-make.
The only day I come here is Taco Tuesday because that’s the only way to justify the absurd prices in a Walmart plaza. $30 for 3 tacos….. This place will not survive…..
They need a good marketer to bring this place more business and if they just started with an amazing happy hour menu I promise they would flourish!!!
I also feel like a lot of these reviews are bots or AI...
