The tequeños are golden, crispy, and perfectly cheesy. Each bite delivers that irresistible crunch followed by gooey, melted queso blanco, making them the ultimate starter—or honestly, a meal on their own.
The perro caliente is pure nostalgia. A soft bun packed with a juicy sausage, topped with crispy potato sticks, melted cheese, and a mix of sweet and savory sauces. It’s the perfect messy bite that just hits different.
But the real showstopper is the house burger. A mix of beef and chicken, layered with bacon, ham, egg, and a generous drizzle of all the classic Venezuelan sauces. Every bite is packed with rich, smoky, and savory flavors, making it an absolute flavor bomb.
Ukelele Foods delivers on taste, quality, and that nostalgic feeling of late-night Venezuelan street food runs. Whether you’re Venezuelan or just love exploring new flavors, this spot deserves a...

So, my last visit of Ukelele was a take-out. I ordered a cheese empanada for my daughter and a burger for myself, since Ukelele owner claims he has the best burger in town! The Empanada was overcooked on the outside with cheese still frozen on the inside. Trashed. The burger: I ordered it to be cooked medium rare. Well, It was burnt on the outside and completely raw on the inside. Raw meat with thin burnt crust. The patty fell apart when I picked it up from the box with my hands, smothered in garlic sauce and some other sauce. I gave it to my dog, but he refused to eat it. Trashed too. Hands down, this was the...worst burger in town!
P.S. Merely several months ago it was a food truck with great vibe, friendly service, and tasty food. However, it quickly lost consistency in keeping the standards at a certain level. Instead, you get a long wait and a lot of attitude with bad food.
Last, but not least, the fact that this business hasn't had good (or any reviews for that matter) in several...
Read moreUkelele is one of those word of mouth gems. I’ve been visiting their food truck for two years now, and I’ve had the pleasure of watching them grow.
They are the sweetest people, they always ask about my future pastry business when I visit.
If you like Arepas, this is the place to visit. I always get the Pelua arepa with queso blanco and it’s a winner. Lately I’ve been eating the Pabellon Arepa. Both have shredded beef and cheese, pabellon adds black beans and fried plantains. Both are worth trying.
My oldest got the Catira Arepa and he was amazed with how tender and juicy the chicken was.
My youngest had the cachapas, which we all helped him eat. It’s an awesome combination of sweet corn and salty queso blanco.
To drink we all got the Papelon con Limin (we call it Agua’e panela) it’s sweet and lemony and refreshing.
If you want to try something new and different or if you’re Venezuelan or Colombian (like me) this place is well worth a visit. The prices are reasonable, you get pretty large portions. It feels like you’re sitting at home, in your backyard with friends enjoying great food with...
