I called three times couldn’t reach a manager, when I finally talked to somebody he was very rude, I didn’t get his name, but he had a foreign accent. me and my wife got two chicken swarm bowls, The chicken was very dry so dry that me and my wife and kids couldn’t eat it so I called for a refund and the lady told me this would be the second time you calling that I could come in and get Two free chicken Shawarma bowls, first time I went up there I was rejected so I left my phone number. I never got a call back so I called that’s when the Mail employee was rude. I feel like I got cursed out over the phone. Hopefully you guys can make this right me and my wife usually come there in the service isn’t bad but this time was terrible and it didn’t make me wanna ever go back and the fact of me calling and leaving. My number made things worse so I hope you guys get it together or I’ll take my business to another tabouli. I hear there’s one in East Lansing that’s pretty good. The date is March 11, 2025. I called first to make sure he was gonna give me my food. He told me just to bring my ID which I did but unfortunately.I just left the restaurant and he asked me if I had a receipt from a month ago. I told him I did not keep that receipt so he said he could not help me and I will receive no refund no food so no I will never ever go back to that place of business actually told me to...
Read moreI am laughing at the good reviews. I can explain those. They are all from people that have never had authentic LEBANESE food. This is NOT "Mediterranean". They put that to entice white/American people. I THINK they made this restaurant to draw in American people, or just people that dont know how Lebanese, or Middle Eastern food is supposed to taste! I use to live in Detroit, one street over from Dearborn. Which, has the highest middle eastern population in the US. I've had authentic Lebanese, & Iraqi food more times than I can count. Whenever I go to Detroit, or near there I stop somewhere to get some fattoush, hummus, and beef shawarma. In Lansing, there aren't many good options for this kind of food. IF u want AMAZING, fresh, authentic, Lebanese food, go to Zaytoons!! My ONLY complaint about them is they dont have beef shawarma. Just chicken! But it's bomb. My husband would never eat my Lebanese food when i would get it from Detroit, or Woody's Oasis, Sultans, or the Lebanese Cafe (out of business). Now, Zaytoons is his favorite place. He wants it more than I do. If u like this place, cool, but PLEASE just try Zaytoons to taste the difference! I feel like Im being sponsored by them. I swear Idk the owners, nor am i associated with the business in any way. Also, it's not expensive. It's very reasonable. To feed my family of 4, it's...
Read moreI remember when my uncle first took me to this restaurant, it started off a chain reaction! I am now in love with Mediterranean and Middle Eastern (Middleterranean) food! I have been going to this place for years now. I have tried many other Middle Eastern and Mediterranean restaurants but I always end up coming back here. Well today me and my girl came back here after a while and there's this cool guy named Dip (pronounced Deep) who works there! He makes people want to come back there and he looks out for you! If you see him on Saturday or Sunday, definitely strike up a conversation with him. Cool dude! The food is good, they have deserts and many different choices plus some neat little drinks. They also have Dubai chocolate! Definitely go here!
For some reason Google is not allowing me to add my photos but he absolutely stuffed the styrofoam box I got for my take out meal. My girl got an even bigger box! You definitely get your money's worth here as far as quantity and the quality isn't too bad...
