Burger King — Restaurant in Lansing Charter Township

Absolutely awful! Service is awful, employees are awful, food is awful! Whenever I have gotten food here it's taken way too long, been old, cold, hard, nasty you name it! The employees are rude as he'll and close the lobby and drive thru whenever they feel like it. I placed an order on the app, they decided to close the lobby early and the * working refused to give me the food, which was automatically charged to my card because I didn't have a car to go thru the drive thru. She actually then LAUGHED at me for not having a vehicle. Would LOVE for her to go through the HELL I've been through the past 2 years causing me to lose my home, car, pets etc! Someone like that deserves to go through that pain! One night my dad went to pick up food and the lady taking orders was out in the parking lot smoking a Blunt and said the computers were down, he could see her outside talking on the headset smoking weed and when he got out of his car and started telling the cars behind him they were closed, the computers were down, she ran inside and got mad at him and said no, we're open we're open i think the computers just came back up! Her boss probably yelled at her for turning customers away. He brought home the food and the order was all messed up, and the food was so old and nasty it was hardly edible. Decided to give them one more shot, because there aren't many restaurants within walking distance for me and they decto close up early tonight. This location closes the lobby doors earlier than posted hours. The employees treat drivethru as priority over customers that come into order, even though I watched workers just stand around, they still waited to take my order. Then I had bought a Whopper Jr, french fries and a chocolate shake (which was the only thing that was made right, taste good and edible), on my lunch break, so I didn't have much time since the workers waited so long to take my order. I walked back to my job and sat to eat... The Whopper wasn't even warm, nothing about it had any heat to it and it didn't look like a Whopper. It was a cold burger with cold cheese and a tomato, I could taste the sourness from the pickles but there was none, and oh yeah there was some mayo on the bun. It was gross and cold. But the sad thing was the burger was more edible than the fries. The were old hard and brown from the old grease they were using with a ton of salt. The reason I'm giving a 3 and not a 1 star is because this was my first time and I'm hoping it will be a one time thing. This location is normally the better food maker but the consistency of service is very rarely better then other locations. This evening on Wednesday May 19th by 6:53 pm I had been in line waiting for 13 minutes with 5 cars ahead of me. As 1 car gets up to the take out order board 2 people get out of a car parked between the building and the order board and walk into the back of burger King. Just as they walk in the person running the board finally starts taking orders. Immediately after a young guy walks out the back with a piece of paper but says nothing to the 8 cars currently in line. So I wait for the next few people to order but they pull up read the paper and leave... it says SORRY WE ARE CLOSED.... I'm like wow so you don't tell the people who have been patient waiting a thing. So my time isn't worth a thing. So I beat feet across to one on MLK and again the line is 17 minutes but they get the food out. Both whoppers had an ungodly amount of mayo. I ordered a sour dough big king a single and got a double with no dressing just bacon and lettuce. What is wrong with this whole thing? EPIC FAILURE...
