Dunkin Donuts — Restaurant in Deltona

I am a loyal customer of Dunkin for years and today was unacceptable. 1:25pm 4/7/24 went thru drive thru and said my order very clearly and once we got to the window, I clarified one of the drinks and immediately got attitude from the lady taking orders. The shift leader (I believe), was behind the lady taking drive thru orders, said there isn’t any caramel and I said ok. I completely understand, so I said mocha is fine. Then a different lady gave us our drinks and I said in a normal tone, “I don’t think this is a macchiato, usually they’re layered.” I’ve been getting the same drink for years now and pretty sure it wasn’t. This lady immediately was rude, took the drink from me…then pointed and said “look mocha, coffee, milk, it’s layered. I just politely took the drink and drove off. I don’t like giving people back a reaction, rather give kindness back but be rude enough over simple things, that’s a bit much. Someone tell me this looks like a “macchiato”. Why are people rude and unpleasant with this type of work? I understand it isn’t the dream job but if you’re not happy doing said job, find another job. There are people that genuinely would take this job to put food on the table with good reason. You rarely see this behavior at a Starbucks. At this specific location, I get along fine with most of the workers there. These 2 ladies seem like new hires as of recent. Dunkin Corporate needs to do a better job of vetting applicants, coming from a business...

The new Dunkin Donuts has been packed for weeks now. I stopped in for donuts and coffee this morning. I went inside to see what they had done with the old Wachovia bank. It was bright and airy. It seemed to be upbeat and trying for a modern vibe. I was greeted right away. I was second in line and order two donuts and two coffees. My order taker was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered two donuts and he suggested caffe for a dollar, so I got two coffees. He got the donuts right away and said the coffee would be up at he the end of the counter very soon. Four people were waiting for coffees ahead of me. In about 5 minutes my two coffees came up and the server called my number. All in all it was a good experience. I’m unsure how anyone could give this location a positive review. The food quality itself is fine for fast food, but the location itself is horribly designed. The drive thru is so poorly placed it impacts the access to the rest of the shopping center, impacting businesses that were predating this location. The drive thru lane itself was designed so narrowly that even regular unmodified pickup trucks can barely fit in the pickup window without damage. Our own midsize car was having every sensor go off due to the lack of clearance. The building itself already has gouges missing from it due to vehicles not fitting in the window to receive orders. I don’t know how anyone could’ve viewed these blueprints and thought “yeah this will be fine...
