06/13/2021 We waited 24 minutes in the drive through line to get to the menu board, only to find it was not working. We pulled to the window and Isis said they had no working headsets. We order two eight price meals, one original and one extra crispy. She said they did not have enough original chicken. They apparently did not serve any cars ahead of us in twenty minutes and they had no chicken. I told her just to give us what chicken they had. She came back and said the chicken was cooking and it would be a seven minute wait. Really, we used to come to Kentucky Fried Chicken 50 years ago on Sunday and they always knew to to have enough chicken cooked for a meal period. My grandkids just complain when we come to KFC because they know it is going to be a long wait. We finally got our food 41 minutes after we arrived. The car that was behind us in line had pulled forward but there was no way out of the driveway for them. As we left they drove passed the window. We could see the line was into the street and cars were going around cars waiting to place their order. No one at anytime let us know the menu board was not taking orders. I hope the food is good but who really know what is going on at this KFC.
5/18/2019 It must just be my stupidity that I keep coming back to this same KFC. It is in my neighborhood so I thought I would pick up a family meal since we had company. How embarrassing, the chicken skin was falling off the chicken. The chicken was cold, dark and oily and left a bad after taste in my mouth. My guests all complained how horrible the chicken was. We sent to Publix for more chicken. The entire conversation changed during our dinner to how disgusting the chicken was and what a bad taste it left in your mouth. I thought my wife was going to cry.
It is time corporate KFC took some action about the Deltona KFC.

This KFC location is hit and miss. It was at best a 1 Star location before its remodel. Now it depends on the staff working when you stop. Many times I have been forced to return to get an item left out of my order. I would not suggest going through the Drive Thru, they are quick to pull you up in a one lane drive thru with curbs. People are constantly stuck because the car in front order is not ready. Several times I have been honked at by cars behind and have even seen truck drive over the curb and bushes to get out of the drive thru lane. Inside you can check your order but they fill three drive thru orders for every counter order. I have been inside with 10 other customers while the fill order after order for the drive thru. Inside I can check my order which is usually missing something but at least I am not forced to leave the drive thru without an item. Food quality is also a hit and miss. The Original recipe is sometimes so old the skin and breading are in the bottom of the bucket. If you get there after 6 PM they stop cooking so if they are out of something they will not cook more. Wish we could get a decent restaurant at this location. Papa John, Italiano's Pizza, The Cuban Café, and the Mexican Restaurant. I would love a Popeye's near this location. Poor quality food and a team that does not care about the customer. Wonder why they even bothered with the new building.

Staff is too busy trying to NOT make eye contact with customers, whether just entering or waiting for their food. When you ARE given your for, they turn away from the customers without offering things such as... Well, UTENSILS or salt and pepper, or butter. You actually have to speak up loudly to get them to turn around and come back to you. It's as if the customer is BOTHERING them.
Some of the staff have damned ear pieces in both ears and are really good at ignoring incoming customers. Initially, I thought it was a bad day / night the first couple visits, but it's part of the "norm" in this place.
SOMEONE NEEDS TO GET IN HERE AND CLEAN HOUSE (staff-wise), SMARTEN UP THE ONES THEY DECIDE TO KEEP, and TRAIN STAFF TO ACT LIKE NORMAL HUMAN BEINGS... NOT IGNORANT ZOMBIES!
When I arrived this afternoon, the line of cars outside had me blocked from being able to pull into the parking area for about 4 minutes. I noticed the gentleman in the front car flinging his hand up in the air while waiting JUST TO HAVE SOMEONE TAKE HIS ORDER! Funny thing was, THERE WEREN'T ANY CUSTOMERS INSIDE, EITHER. :(

I had three or four of the worst experiences of my life at this place about a year ago and everybody that worked there then other than one person has been fired. It used to be a privately owned KFC, now it is a corporate store and they have cracked the whip and turn this place into a real restaurant that the colonel will be proud of. Tonight I met the district manager, a gentleman named Travis. When I told him about my experience he assured me those people were gone and it was his and his team's mission to turn this place like a legit place. Sandra is one of the managers, very efficient and sociable as well as a lady named Thea, she went out of her way to take good care of us tonight, she offered us a drink and gave me an extra piece of chicken for waiting 6 minutes so the food would be hot, I would have done that anyway without the chicken, LOL, give this place another chance if you were there a year ago or later they have turned the corner and when you go in there ask for a young black man named Kenny, it's his first job and he's doing it quite well for a 17 year old.
