Since the order takers canât ever get anything right, Iâve lately been using the mobile app to place my order. I figure that if I select what I want, it takes one more variable out of the equation and I will have a higher likelihood of getting my order right. Not quite 50% of the time, Iâm missing an item. My new policy is to check and make sure that everything I ordered was in the bag, before pulling away from the window (sorry to everyone behind me in the drive through). Every now and then, one or two of the employees are cheerful, and interact with me. Most of the time, the people you deal with are indifferent to your presence. Routinely, while waiting on food at the window, I have seen the employees playing on their phones, and goofing off in general. Usually, the food quality is pretty decent, which is why I have continued going there. Not after today!
I placed a mobile order, like I always do, and selected pickup in the drive through. I pulled up to the talk box, and the female asked me something about a combo, but I couldnât quite understand her. I indicated that I had placed a mobile order, and provided my name. She responded with, âWhatâs your name?â I told her again, and she asked me to hold on for a second. She left the microphone on, so I could hear her discussing something with someone else, but I couldnât quite understand what they were saying. The female says to me, âYour order is inside.â I thought to myself, that I didnât expect it to be anywhere else, but asked her to repeat herself in case I misunderstood. She again responded, âYour order is inside.â I said, âI donât understand what you are asking me to do.â She was saying something else, I couldnât hear, when a male voice came over the speaker and rudely said, âYou have to come inside to get your food.â
I pulled up and walked in. There was an employee filling an ice bucket, who made eye contact with me. He never said anything. A female employee peeked around her food station, and made eye contact with me, but didnât say anything. Two other employees made eye contact with me, but no one said a word. After I stood there for more than a minute without anyone saying anything to me, a female comes around the corner, points at me, and says, âmobile order?â I told her yes, and asked why I had to come inside. She looked in my eyes, and walked away without providing an answer. Another girl came around the corner, and said âhereâs your sweet tea.â I thanked her, and asked why I had to come inside. She had her head down and walked away without saying anything else. She seemed genuinely uncomfortable with the situation, so Iâm not blaming her for just wanting to get out of there. Next one around the corner is the female I was originally talking to on the drive through speaker. She said, âI never told you that you have to come inside.â I said, âa guy came on the speaker, and told me that I had to come inside.â She responded with, âI never told you that.â
I donât know why she would argue with me over something so trivial, and on top of that, be so rude about it. Guess what I found when I got home. My sweet tea? Not so much. Also, the fries were over cooked. Horrible service, poor quality food, and frequent order inaccuracies. I guess Iâm done going to this Wendyâs.    Read moreI went to the drive through tonight, Friday March 15th 2025 at around 10:20pm to receive the worst service ever. I ordered a number 8 with lemonade and an order of 10 piece nuggets to be dipped in BBQ sauce with no dipping sauce. The 1st time I received my order I drove off and parked looked in by bag and no nuggets. I went back around waited for three orders in front of me then told the Caucasian guy with the long hair what had happened and repeated my order. He gave me a bag and apologized for what happened. I looked and in the bag the nuggets were not in sauce and no BBQ dipping sauce not that I asked for "dipping sauce'. So I went back again...this time it was another Caucasian guy with a blue polo. I explained that this would be the third time trying to place the order he apologized and I gave him the order. I told him 10 piece nuggets in BBQ sauce and no dipping sauce. He gave me the bag and this time I thought to only check to see if they gave me utensils since I was pretty confident that the third time it would be right...but guess what it wasn't!!! It was the same exact way as the second time but this time with BBQ dipping sauce đ¤Śââď¸ and what's worse is that when i told him that my order was wrong again he said I didn't know that's what you wanted... It's obvious that the listening and reading skills of some of the reps in this crew need improvement, respectfully. I'm not the one to write reviews but someone, District Manager, needs to post attention to this branch. My very first job was Wendy's when I was in high-school and I would try my very best to perfect each order in the quickest way possible back when you would just listen to the order...not hard if you just pay attention, I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else. It's frustrating and time consuming. The rep did try to ask me to repeat the order the 4th time and gave me a little attitude about it not owning up to the branch's mistakes (3 times prior) so I just handed the bag and said God bless you and have a good night. Had he apologized sincerely, I would've gave them a 4th try. Anyway....I'll get my nuggets some...
   Read morethis will be my first & last time at this specific location first and foremost i want to say there has been a theory going around that the general manager and other grown men that work here preying on young ladies that are minors... touchy feely, exchanging numbers etc my daughter told me that a teenager that she goes to school with was sharing information about the work place and told not to get a job here. that's unsafe & scary & as an adult no kid should be at school expressing that to her fellow friends - however i decided to come to try it out since its close to my house and the food was horrible the inside bathrooms looked like a hurricane came thru & nonetheless the line was SO LONG EXTREMELY that's what made me get out and come inside i don't know what is going on with this location but it wasn't like this a few months ago & i don't even want a refund i just will not come back and the manager on shift with the glasses stated he couldn't wait to quit and find him a new job and quite frankly i don't blame him it's too much going on in that store that is not how a fast food restaurant should be RAN & for the ladies that feel uncomfortable should not have to work in a environment where there is men who prey on such young ladies because i myself know how that feels like. i will be contacting corporate this is RIDICULOUS !!!!!!!!!! if you are wanting a child to work here to all my peers in deltona do not let your child work here until you ask a person who work here already because this...
