My son and I stopped at Arby’s to grab a quick snack during a two-hour gap between a wedding and reception. He’s 15, has his permit, and is very quiet and shy. At the speaker, the employee taking our order was rude, unclear, and showed poor drive-thru etiquette. My son had to repeat himself multiple times.. at first we thought the speaker was broken. When we pulled up to the window, the same employee made us wait an unusually long time before even taking payment. He wasn’t kind, friendly, or professional, and it felt as if he was intentionally being dismissive. When he finally handed us our food, the sauces we asked for were missing. My son called out politely, but instead of responding, the employee walked away from the window and never came back. Moments later, we pulled forward and watched as he immediately opened the window for the next customer, treating them with politeness and helpfulness.. the complete opposite of our experience. I’ve worked in customer service for years, and I know how much it matters. This type of behavior reflects poorly on a brand. I eventually had to go inside, where a young lady kindly and apologetically helped me get the sauces. She was wonderful, and I appreciated her professionalism. For reference, this happened Saturday, September 20th between 2–3 PM. Do better..kindness and respect cost nothing. On a positive note, the food itself was...
Read more*Update: I officially cannot stand this place and will NOT be going back! My son chose Arby's for a meal on a school night, this one is the closest. Staff was very friendly, that is the ONLY thing saving a star. Either under trained, or they are told to cut corners on quality, I suspect the latter. Fries were not hot altho we watched them make a fresh batch, and had a slightly off taste. The sandwiches were sloppy as if they were rushed, and the buns weren't even warm. We have no idea why it took so extra long for our order as we were the only customers dining in, and there were possibly 3-4 cars in the drive thru at leisurely spaced intervals the whole time. Several sodas were also off in some way, not flat exactly, but had slightly off tastes. It was the final straw for my husband as well, he said we would drive out of our way to another town if we ever thought about Arby's again, or better yet...Beef-a-Roo. That's definitely not a good sign, as we live in the middle of nowhere and this is the closest town with stores, and Arby's is right across the street.
The food is mediocre compared to other Arby's. Service is hit or miss. Some employees are fantastic, super friendly and helpful, others make it clear they don't want to be there. It's not always the cleanest either. Arby's is my favorite fast food, this is the only one I'd drive past in favor of...
Read moreMessed up an order and tried to charge me twice instead of giving me what I paid for. I then had my bag thrown at me, which was a portion of what I ordered and was told here you go.
I've had other incidents at this arby's where staff is just rude, seem unhappy to be working, etc. Ask for extra sauce or napkins and they act like its a huge deal.
Also takes forever to get your food. Went there one day and spent 45 minutes in the drive through with 1 car in front of me because one of the employees was goofing off with the person in front of me. I had a line of cars behind me, and watched 1 by 1 as they pulled out and went elsewhere. Had I not been bumper to bumper I would of left too!!!!
I love arby's as a company, but this arby's is absolutely awful. Customer service is terrible. The employees seem miserable. Definitely won't be stopping in...
