IHOP — Restaurant in Deming

We pulled into Deming after a long travel day. We checked into our hotel and stopped for a late dinner at IHOP. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and told the wait may be a bit. We certainly could see they were busy with large groups, and there appeared to be just one server. Unfortunately, I did not get the servers name. He was a very nice younger gentleman. He appeared very, very busy as we watched him take orders, bring drinks to customers, and bring food out. Another young lady came in with her family/friends to dine in. We watched her ask the young man if he needed help. She came over and took our drink order and came back right away with our iced teas. She mentioned it was her first day, and she came in to eat with her family/friends. She also took our food order, was very knowledgeable, and brought our food to us. Both the young lady and the young gentleman checked in on us a few times. Kudos to the young lady with long, dark hair for stepping in and going out of her way to help out. (I wish I had gotten her name as well, but didn't.) Another gal brought our check to us. Honestly, I don't think she was 'on duty' either. I think it's awesome they both stepped up to help on their evening off. I went to IHOP in Deming New Mexico for breakfast on Father's day the 19 June 2022 at 10:30 am and the Restaurant was busy with people at most of the tables and we had 7 in our Party, we were suspected in the backroom and we didn't get any service for over 35 minutes and when we ordered our breakfast it took about One Hour to be served and we thought it was because the Restaurant was busy but it wasn't and other people were getting up and leaving the IHOP Restaurant because the Food being served was BURNT and the other other order's were ICE Cold and the service was Lousy and we had asked for the Manager and he said that our whole meal was on the House even though none of us ate any of the meal and other people were trying to pay for they're blll with Credit Caards and Debt Cards and the Credit Card machines wouldn't work and they were to that the meals were free and as we were leaving IHOP Restaurant over 80% to 90% of the Tables were full of dirty dishes and the Restaurant was was a Mess and the kitchen staff and the Wait staff were sitting in the back corner drinking coffee and laughing while the Restaurant was a complete MESS. 4 - 16 - 2020 Friday, terrible redheaded waitress, left me sitting without food or drinks for 15 to 20 minutes... I generally give this place four or five stars, but this chick was terrible! 4 - 15 - 2020 Thursday ... excellent lunch at IHOP today my tip was pretty good for a regular tip , but since when do I tip like a regular person ...
