Tacos Mirasol — Restaurant in Deming

Two friends and I stopped by here to pick up food on the way to Cali. The place looked a little rundown, but the food was anything but! We got carne asada, barbacoa, and chicken tacos as well as horchata. The tacos were street taco sized. The corn tortillas had a nice crisp to them. The barbacoa tacos were the fan favorite, and they are the reason that I’m writing a review in the first place! The carne asada tacos were also very tasty. I really used to enjoy this restaurant, but hadn't been in a couple of years. Stopped in for some shrimp tacos and was very disappointed. The wait was a little long even though it wasn't very busy. Instead of shrimp I got beef tacos, good thing I checked the order before I left. And the tortillas fell apart after the first bite. I had to scoop them out of the box in pieces and eat them like a salad with my fingers. Though I ended up only eating one as they just didn't taste the same. Love the food, we eat here at least 2 times a week. Service was great for a long time but the last few months an extremely rude lady (I think the owners wife) answers or picks up the phone and immediately hangs up and also probably the same rude lady is there waiting on you, she seems irritated to even take your order or give you your food. I asked for a price and she said she was “too busy”. If that lady wasn’t there this would be a 5 star review... very sad that we are considering discontinuing going to this place we love just because of her, they need to get someone else to work the counter, I have observed her being rude to...
