Took 40 minutes to receive our order: Steak and eggs w/ cheese grits, Breakfast Biscuit, Breakfast Burrito, and a side of tomato gravy. Out of our entire order, the steak should take the longest amount of time, 7-10 minutes. The steak was seasoned well, but the tail end of the steak was raw (not just undercooked). The Breakfast Biscuit was burnt. A 40 minute wait with 2 glaring issues does not make a good first impression. The saving grace? The cheese grits. If you enjoy the flavor of Stouffer's Mac & Cheese, you'll love the cheese grits. I watched 3 groups of people walk out in the hour we were there. When leaving, I heard, "We can eat somewhere else. No need to wait here," from a group right outside the entrance. They did end up leaving. Not sure how the kitchen management prioritization works at YBH. Maybe taking drive up orders at peak times needs to be revisited? At least until kitchen staff can get meals out in a more reasonable timeframe. I continue to be leary about establishments that ask for payment and tip before receiving any food or service. This establishment only furthers my...
Read moreThis was the WORST restaurant experience I've had in a while and I've literally been left unattended and had to leave at a restaurant before this.. the food was terrible. Sausage wasn't cooked all the way, the eggs were unseasoned and gross, the biscuit was large but not very good but not the worst thing, the chicken was basically just shake and bake with no chicken in the middle, the waffle was burnt, the food quality it not good to say the least.. and the drinks.. why are they all fruity??? Sweet tea and coffee are disgusting. The grits I will say we're honestly pretty good but that's literally it. Even the tables and salt and pepper shakers were dirty and sticky.. I NEVER leave reviews but I just couldn't not leave one for here.. the staff seemed decent it was a weird experience over all bc of how the restaurant worked but the food made the experience TERRIBLE if I could leave a zero star I would. Also the food is waaayy to expensive for...
Read moreStaff was very friendly and food was fast. It’s a cute place. The food, however, was nothing special. I got a breakfast platter and two drinks, it was 18 dollars for that. You can make this breakfast yourself for at least half the price as the eggs were bland, the grits nothing spectacular (I had gotten plain), the toast (we asked for white but got wheat) was Nature’s Own Honey Wheat, and the bacon was floppy. The sweet tea didn’t taste home brewed (not sure, but it wasn’t very good) and the orange juice tasted watered down. I hate to be so negative but Waffle House tastes much better. Edit: forgot to say but was reminded when reading the other reviews, the portion sizes are big so perfect size to share your bland food with...
