This particular, McDonald’s was horrible!!!!
I'm writing to express my extreme frustration, disappointment, and anger with the service I received at your location on Fort Worth Dr. and I 35 in Denton, Texas. It was around 3 am, and I was in the drive-thru with one car in front of me. I heard the employee say something like "hold on" or "I'll be right with you" over the intercom, but it took a lengthy amount of time, and the car in front of me had already left. Assuming it was my turn, I pulled around to the window.
When I reached the window, the employee opened it, visibly annoyed, and told me she had asked me to wait at the previous point. I explained that I wasn't sure what she had said, as I was 98% sure she asked me to wait, but I was on my cell phone and wasn't certain due to the delay. I then explained that I had a mobile order and just needed to provide the number.
However, she told me that she couldn't process my order at the window and that I would have to go back to the drive-through. I was confused and questioned why she couldn't take my order at the window when she could have taken it at the drive-through window just a few feet back. We went back-and-forth on this issue, and I couldn't understand her behavior, as I wasn't displaying any aggressive attitude or language.
The situation escalated when she abruptly closed the window without a word after I asked her to give me my order. I tried to get her attention by knocking, but she and another employee ignored me, walking away without acknowledging me. It was clear that they were not going to assist me further. The employee's behavior was completely unacceptable - rude, dismissive, and unprofessional.
I sat in the drive-thru for another 10 minutes, trying to figure out how to get a refund, but I was unable to resolve the issue. I took a photo of the sign and noted down the complaint line number, which I called immediately, hoping that there would be video and audio evidence of the incident.
I'm still fuming about the experience and plan to share it with my friends and on social media. I'll be deleting the app and avoiding your location from now on. I hope you'll take this incident seriously and take necessary actions to address the employee's behavior and improve...
Read moreI agree with every single recent negative review about the a (dyed red hair, Caucasian) woman who has a very nasty attitude. This was NOT the first situation I’ve encountered with this lady, this is the third. I entered the drive thru line and was greeted by the boy working in the first window. I ordered through the McDonald’s app, had a problem with the app, and tried to get them to cancel it at the speaker (as we had not yet received the food). The boy was confused, so she over-road him in the headset with a very disgusting, condescending tone. I explained the situation multiple times, and she seemed to be very ignorant and was just not listening to the problem at all. We waited patiently for about a minute or two for her to talk to us again after asking us to wait, which is fine because the line was very long. She started asking the same exact questions again. This lady offered ZERO solutions/help, she just jumped at the opportunity of yelling at another customer, which she does VERY often. She then preceded to give more attitude, which then caused a back-and-forth conversation. She told us to pull up to the window. She was there at the window, but she did not attend us, which was odd, because she usually does work the window every time we come. She stepped away without saying anything and pretended to do something elsewhere. She had another girl step in, and this girl actually listened and apologized for the other woman’s behavior. The second girl was very easy and quick to work with. I worked in the drive thru as a teenager, but even then, I never had the same amount of attitude or audacity as this GROWN (GROWN) woman. I don’t expect anything from them but decent food and formality, but DAMN. My sincerest apologies to the co-workers that have to work with her. Thanks...
Read moreThis place has no customer service skill service whatsoever. I placed a Mobile order as takeout through drive-through, and when it was my turn to order at the speaker, I waited in total about five minutes at the speaker, waiting for somebody to talk to me. I called out “hello” twice In the speaker to nobody responded. If the workers needed time, They could’ve communicated that to me on the speaker And been like, “hey, will you please give us a minute then we will get with you?” cool okay. but that was not the case at all. I got no response period. So I pull up to the drive-through window, and even then I still had to wait for the lady (who had her back towards me scrolling on her phone) to turn around so I could get her attention. Once I got her attention, she opens the window and I told her that I placed a mobile order. She then goes to say Did you place your order back at the speaker? I said yes Because I tried to call out for their attention to which I got no response and waited there for five minutes, so I pulled up to the window. The worker then goes to say well you’re gonna have to go back around and place your mobile order if no one responded at the speaker. The attitude I received was very unnecessary because I did nothing to activate the response that I got from that lady. I understand working in fast food is a lot. I have done it myself, But that does not give you any excuse to act the way she did. Maybe if we could handle ourselves as true working professionals and have good communication and customer service skills, this wouldn’t be an issue. I would recommend any other mcdonald’s before coming to this one, it’s alway problems over here with something. (The lady I encountered had reddish/orange hair and...
