I took my iPhone 6 in to get my screen fixed. I looked at several places and this one seemed to have the best reviews and a good price. My phone was working just fine other than the screen. When I took it to them they lived up to their name "Fix it fast" however my Touch ID no longer worked. The gentleman opened my phone and stated something was not properly aligned (which points out error) and to try again. Even after restarting the phone, it did not work. So he suggested I take my phone home and restore it, in which I did. Halfway through the restore process I continuously got error code 53 (which according to Apple is a hardware issue) and my phone was no longer operable because it could not complete the restore process. I took my phone back and was told they're going to order a part to try and fix it. Luckily I was able to purchase a new phone meantime, however a week later I was told my phone was not able to be fixed and was offered a refund of my money for the screen repair and have "an old screen" (which ended up being someone else's cracked screen) placed back on my inoperable phone. I requested to speak to a manager who called me promptly and informed him my phone was working fine PRIOR to me taking it to them and I even backed up my device minutes before bringing it to them with no issues. He stated he would have to speak to the owner. This was on a Thursday. The following Tuesday I had to reach out to them asking for a follow up on my issue. Several hours later I received a call back stating they would refund my money for the screen repair and give me $75 for the phone. I still found this displeasing because as their guarantee states if they "...inadvertently damage your device beyond the original condition in which it was brought in. Fix It Fast will replace your device. NO QUESTIONS ASKED." but was told I agreed to the services rendered, which was to fix my screen, NOT mess up my phone. I have a second phone screen I needed fixed but I WILL NOT be taking it here or recommend them due to the fact even though they're refunding me my money for the service and $75 out of my $900 phone (which subconsciously admits fault) they will not take full responsibility for damaging my phone or honor their...
Read moreHi, I will be honest, I was quite frustrated with the service here, I dropped off my electronic approximately half a year ago now, and yet we were the ones who had to constantly make sure it wasn't just forgotten about and cast aside. There was a badly broken screen, and after I believe a month we had received no updates. I know things take time, but I wish they could have at least informed us of the problem. I try to be patient, as I know what it's like when you've got customers waiting for you to finish something that's giving you trouble, but the utter lack of contact left me incredibly worried for my technology. I call back recently to find that they lost our number and put our stuff in storage. I'm now waiting for any update to let me take my technology back and, if it's not fixed, at least take it to someone else.
Now, here's hoping I didn't just mistake this place for somewhere completely different. Apologies, I hope you guys can do better in the future.
Btw, if the owner does see this review, I'm the one that actually cares about the technology, but it was put in under a different name. I would love to have this resolved...
Read moreHad my note 8 screen replaced here due to a charging issue and unfortunately the temp gauge is apart of the screen and the screen needed to be replaced. After picking the phone up, I found a grey smudge like mark on the bottom left side of the screen that is noticeable against a white background, especially when viewing a page in chrome or anything with a white background. This may seem like a petty complaint, but i spent almost $300 to get a NEW screen installed that was supposed to have been without any marks on it. The grey mark did not come off when trying to rub it off so I'm thinking it must be on the inside of the screen. Not happy that this screen has this visible grey spot that is distracting when you know it's there. Will be returning the phone to have the screen replaced again with a brand new one without any noticeable marks on it. But other than that, the customer service was great and the phone is charging and fully fuctional after replacing the screen. Just hope they will honor my request to replace the screen again after i show them this distracting grey...
