Dear Mariscos Sinaloa Management,
We have been loyal patrons of your Buckner location for quite some time and have always enjoyed the food, service, and welcoming atmosphere. However, during a recent visit to the Denton location while passing through the area, we had a very disappointing experience that we feel is important to bring to your attention.
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was negatively affected by an employee who was loudly using inappropriate language and having a personal conversation on her phone within earshot of the dining area. Given the small size of the restaurant, it was difficult to enjoy our meal with such a disruptive environment.
In terms of food, we ordered two entrees—a ceviche and a seafood boil. The ceviche arrived first and unfortunately had a sour taste, suggesting it may not have been fresh. We brought this to the employee’s attention, and while she appeared frustrated, she did offer to replace it. We agreed to pay half since we had already tasted some of it.
The first seafood boil had decent flavor, but the shrimp were extremely rubbery and difficult to peel, indicating that they were not fresh. After raising this concern, we decided to cancel the second seafood boil we had ordered.
Despite the issues, we paid for all items we ordered and consumed. However, based on this experience, we do not plan to return to the Denton location. We’re sharing this feedback in hopes that it can be addressed, as we know the high standards your brand is capable of and would love to see that consistency carried across all locations
Read moreI visited Mariscos Sinaloa in Denton on a Saturday evening and, unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. I ordered a cocktail that turned out to be one of the worst I’ve had. It tasted raw and unbalanced — completely lacking flavor and depth, as if it hadn’t been mixed properly or was missing key ingredients.
Beyond the drink itself, the service was disappointing. The way I was spoken to lacked basic professionalism. I wasn’t expecting overly formal treatment, but a courteous and respectful tone is the minimum standard, especially in a customer-facing environment.
Mariscos Sinaloa has potential, and I understand that busy weekends can be challenging. However, both the quality of the drinks and the way guests are treated need improvement. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to enhance future...
Read moreWe went on a Wednesday during lunch. The food was good, it’s a bit pricey but that’s what’s expected when buying seafood. The owner was very friendly to us and very attentive, asked how we were doing and was very smiley. There’s not much space to stay and eat, there’s around 6-8 tables. They have a TV were they play music so the environment and...
