Mi Ranchito Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Denton

My friend and I went for late lunch today and their service is always slow but today it was horribly slow especially considering we were the only two people in the restaurant. My friend found a piece of black metal in her fajita meat. I even took it and was looking at it and it definitely was a piece of metal. We told the waitress and she took the piece of metal and walked off and no one ever came to apologize to us to ask my friend if she wanted something else they totally ignored us. After waiting an extremely long time we finally got the waitress and had her bring us another fajita. Even checking out we still never got an apology. No we did not get a discount on our bill we had to pay the full amount and believe me if me or my friend has swallowed the piece of metal it would not have been good. It was a fairly big piece of metal and my dad caused quite a bit of damage going down your throat. I will never go back to this restaurant again which is sad because I liked their food but it was like we were interrupting the waitress and that she didn't really have time for us I need to get no apology I mean not one word about it after we told her so if you go be very careful because you don't know what's going to be in your food and what you...

Went to lunch with my girlfriend and took advantage of there lunch menu at which was very good we arrived around 2 30 which was the end of the lunch crowd and where the last customers there at which time I noticed a large guy in the corner of my eye trying to punch me in the head while setting down eating my food while several restaurant employees were holding him back sending him into the kitchen, I was approached by a couple of the staff members apologizing for his actions and telling me that he has mental issues and that everything thing would be ok and he wouldn't bother us anymore but it wasn't more then 10 minutes when the guy came out of the kitchen straight at me at which I had to immediately stand up so not to be attacked while setting down not knowing what he would do to me I had to tell him to stand back from me when he startted to yell back at me looking as he wanted to physically attack me and once again he was escorted away from two of his Co workers at which my girlfriend grabbed me and said we we're living and we left not believing what had just happened and I wanted to call the police but didn't because there was not any physical harm to either one of us. We’re so glad that the nearest Tex-Mex joint to our home is so tasty! Been dining here both in-restaurant and to-go for 15+ years at this great little hole in the wall and the food is consistently delicious. Good chips, better salsa, and great entrees, plus they serve a nice lil bean soup as part of their chip and salsa service. They use fresh spinach in their quesadillas and enchiladas instead of frozen! The service can be a little hit or miss - never bad, just sometimes a bit slow - and the space isn’t fancy though it is clean, but the food comes out piping hot straight from the kitchen (the cheese on our enchiladas was literally sizzling tonight!), so we see no reason to complain.
