If I could give 0 stars I would! I am a frequent customer of this brand and order from this restaurant regularly, but this is the first time I actually picked up my food myself. I implore you, if you’re a person of Color, DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!! I have Not been treated with such CONTEMPT AND DISRESPECT in quite some time especially being 2024! After waiting for someone to help me for 10 mins, I had to go to the kitchen to find any employees to obtain my order. My food was cold and burnt and so I asked for a remake and to speak with a manager about the lack of service and food quality. Heather is who I got…she claimed to be the manager (no one was wearing name tags so I’m guessing that is the real name) she was not only RACIST, but also a LIAR who argued with me about my food being “charred” not burnt! I explained I order from them weekly and asked for it to be remade her distaste for my “kind” became blatantly apparent! Since I had to wait anyway I decided to add a side to my order to which she and her staff declined to process, claiming that they were “out” of everything I asked for. I just waited outside until the new order came up and she just chucked the bag at me and told me to leave her store! I then stated I would like the contact info for the Regional Mgr or someone above her and she refused to provide any info and shouted for me to leave “her store”. I stated that I wanted a refund because I WILL NOT spend my money anywhere where I’m treated so poorly she refused and then proceeded to call staff members from the kitchen, where they were all hanging around chatting instead of serving customers. They started to surround me so I dialed 911. One of the girls stated she was also a mgr asked me what happened and as I was trying to tell her Heather then attempted to play victim, when clearly she was the aggressor, lied like I cursed at her, but she wasn’t even bright enough to come up with what curse word was used or in what context. The 911 operator who was listening asked if I could safely get outside and Heather along with several male staff started coming towards me and I told the operator I was scared and I was backing out of the door and to get Police there immediately! I decided my safety was the priority and just drove out of the lot and called customer support. Several mins later a person called claiming to be from Denton Police told me to just contact Corporate and there wasn’t much they could have done as it was a Civil matter 🤯! Read moreThis is my 5th time coming to an Outback Steakhouse (2nd time for this location) and there is no better word to describe the service and food here than Phenomenal! Even with it being a Sunday afternoon and it being busy, they were very quick and efficient with getting our large food order (cooked to perfection) to us in a timely manner. Staff and management were very friendly and frequently checked back to make sure drinks were filled and food was cooked to our liking. The Owner (Garret) also paid a personal visit to our table and was very friendly! Love how they made it extra special since today was my father's birthday. One of the biggest things that stood out to me was the friendliness and encouragement between staff. (Having worked in the food industry before, it isn't hard to tell when there is tension or stress between staff) but all the staff treated each other like family, paying each other compliments almost every 5 minutes. One instance being that a manager told one of the waitresses that she was very proud of her. Truly a peaceful, relaxing and family friendly place to eat and enjoy time together! Mekya was very sweet and friendly and very efficient. I've never had a bad experience while dining at this location! I live almost 2 hours away (there aren't very many locations closer to where I live) but the service at this location is definitely worth the time it takes to drive all the way to this location! Read moreHave been frequenting this establishment for a few years. The past visit, the meal was horrible, one of the worst steaks. The even rank the worst steakhouse according to "Food Rebublic". There was a total lack in attention to detail. Unfortunately the staff was totally consumed in distractions of other conversations, quite unaccommodating and inattentive to the tables needs. We relocated as the seating and table were dirty with a sticky residue that was not visually noticeable. The food quality has diminished considerably over the past 3 visits, to mediocre sub-par to terrible.
Managementneeds to re-evaluate thier core values and operational procedures and pay attention to whats being served. I've worked in the service industry for several years and conditions and thos quality of overall experience would never be tolerated in how they run this particular establishment. I've dined extensively across the United States and globally, I have to say this was pretty lousy experience, not only for me, but my business guests as well and family members on a few different occasions. I will not return again, I came, I tried it again with multiple chances. These corporate-chain gimmick restaurants are missing points and kudos as there's certainly better dinning establishments for the same price point and offering higher quality prime steak cuisine and professionalism.
