Heavenly Taylored Sweets — Restaurant in Denton

Based on the positive reviews, we assumed this was a professional bakery that did quality work. However, these are the birthday cupcakes that were made for my child's birthday costing $24 for 6. These were not acceptable and no pride or care was put into making these. We were left scrambling last minute to find something else more suitable for a special occasion. Very, very disappointed given I could have done a better job baking these. I wish I had gone to pick these up rather than my husband who really didn't inspect these closely before leaving the bakery, because they would have been left right on the counter. Needless to say I will never be using this bakery's services again nor recommending them.

UPDATE : BUYERS BEWARE: After calling us to apologize about the cupcakes she made, and admitting that her oven would sometimes blow over and give red velvet cupcakes awkward shapes, she offered a partial refund. We refused, given these weren’t worth $15 and she should have offered a full refund, given it was her equipment malfunctioning, and she left us scrambling last minute to find a suitable replacement for our child’s birthday. The owner then had the audacity to post a disingenuous response to our review stating my husband must have damaged them on the transport home. Look at those pictures!!!! No amount of frosting could cover up all of the lumps on those misshapen, Hunchback of Notre Dame looking cupcakes, which honestly tasted how they looked. They ended up in the trash, where they belonged. What a disappointment that the owner, “Heavenly Taylor,” who calls herself a Christian, chose to lie and be deceitful in order to save face rather than tell the truth about this and take responsibility for having an off day perhaps, and selling a poorly made product. Heavenly Taylored Sweets is a blessing. I have asked my mom not to leave her apartment during this time of uncertainty. I have sent her some of the items she has needed. But, how about the things she wants. She mentioned eating cake. I called a business but they wouldn't deliver to her address. I took a chance and reached out to an unknown bakery to myself. They said no problem. She even went to the added step of making it fresh and delivering the pie to my mom the following day. It was a complete surprise to my momma.
