I've been coming here once a month for years now and I must say I do enjoy their banh mi sandwiches. Something to do with their mayo I think or maybe their house made rolls or maybe it's their pate? They get everything right when it comes to an authentic Vietnamese sandwich and it is priced very competitively. For only $3.50 for basic sandwiches and $4 for the fancy ones, I don't think you will be disappointed in the quality. They always use fresh ingredients. Also if you buy five sandwiches they give you one for free. I always take them up on this offer and buy a few and reheat them in my toaster during the week. They usually last only 2 days because my husband and I end up eating them for every meal! Also, if you're just buying one sandwich, make sure you have cash. They do not allow credit card purchases under $5. There's lots of other delicious Vietnamese snacks as well like che which is a sweet soupy dessert which are must tries! You can also have fresh pressed sugar cane drinks too!! It's incredible actually but they put too much ice, so tell them to...
Read moreOne of my favorite Vietnamese bakeries in the area. It truly is a hole in the wall type of place. It is very small with an equally small, slightly sketchy looking parking lot. The interior is a no frills or deco type of bakery and is all grab and go. They aren't as busy or offer as much items as their competitors, but I wouldn't write them off because of it. I'm happy to say that their deals on the sandwiches (buy 5 get 1 free) and the pate chaud or banh bao (buy 10 get 1 free) are still going strong.
We ordered 2 sandwiches, 10 pate chaud and 1 banh bao for my son. Everything we had tasted delicious and the prices were decent in comparison to their competitors. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food. I did feel like my grilled pork sandwich could've used my meat in it, but that's my only complaint. I do prefer their pate chaud over most of the other bakeries in the area though. The flavor is just so...
Read moreYou guys need to go here. They are super friendly and sweet. Reasonable prices and large portions. Most importantly the food is delicious. There's a ton of variety of prepared foods that's made fresh. I could see the aunties in the back making the pork buns from scratch. The banh mi is made to order and they are large and don't skimp on you with the filling. The bread is thin and airy. I had the sticky rice wrapped in a wafer and it was fresh, chewy and flavorful but not too sweet. I highly recommend. It reminded me of Vietnam. I got the pork buns and pate chaud (meat filled flaky pastry) too. I haven't eaten them yet because the banh mi and sweet sticky rice was so filling. I'm in love with this place. Go here instead of ba le sandwiches! ...
