Excellent warm hearty sandwich on a windy cool day! Absolutely scrumptious and delicious! Will definitely be coming back here soon for more! I picked the Fried chicken banh Mi sandwich and was so pleased! It was delicious! Good portion of quality not-greasy friend chicken with fresh clean green veggies, cilantro, cucumbers and perfectly paired sauce delivered in a freshly baked bread loaf … with perfectly delivered sauce to veggie to meat ratio too. It makes my mouth water just writing and thinking about this too tastes pick again! Totally not drippy or over- sauced, and not greasy at all! Clean, healthy and well designed banh mi sandwich- totally worth waiting 10-15 minutes for this yummy new lunch favorite in DU neighborhood!
Restaurant was clean, simply designed for ordering and going, but it also does have a nice simple row of indoor of small circular 1-2-person barista style tables for those looking to sit down for quick bite on lunch breaks or on the go. Otherwise, definitely not a “date night “ kind of place or vibe but that’s totally cool. This place is rockin’ what is does offer and do quite well! 👍🏻 It’s set up for those looking for a fresh, healthy quality Vietnamese meal for lunch or on-the -go as mentioned before. Unique and flavorful with a nice variety quick quality and delicious sandwich and food orders placed online...
Read moreThe best Banh Mi in Denver. The prices are quite low, the sandwiches are incredible, and the kitchen was nice and tidy. The dining room is a bit outdated, but I always do take out, and most people don't care about the ambiance when you can get a pork cutlet Banh Mi with tea and eggrolls for $14. That's pretty much the same price as a Burger combo at Wendy's next door, but the quality at Banh Mi station is substantially better than fast food.
The fried banh mi are the best on the menu in my opinion. The pork cutlet had a really good texture and was very juicy. From the taste and texture, I think they have to be breading these in-house, which would also explain how they're able to have such reasonable prices. The chicken was also very good. I don't like cold cuts in general, so I haven't tried the other sandwiches. This is a small business to support...
Read moreI ordered their spicy tofu banh mi and their vegetarian (soy meat) banh mi. The bread was soft and crumbly; it’s the kind of sandwich you’d eat hunched over the sink because every bite creates its own mess. I prefer this bread texture to the hard, crusty, tears-the-roof-of-your-mouth kind. I would come back here for the spicy tofu sandwich over the soy meat one. The spicy tofu isn’t all that spicy, and the texture of the tofu was just right. The soy meat one was not heavily seasoned so it was very mild. I’m still on my quest to find a great vegetarian banh mi joint in Denver; I think this spot could soothe an insistent craving for a good banh mi (their pickled daikon and carrots were great). On the other hand, I saw at least 5 people order their lemongrass banh mi in the 20 min that I was there, so I trust that their meat banh mi...
