Blackjack Pizza & Salads — Restaurant in Denver

Tonight is 1/18/2018 I ordered the same pizza I have ordered since ordering from This store I haven't made a complaint since the one following This one I get green olives jalapenos and extra cheese every time well tonight I got a few olives many many jalapenos so u called to have it fixed. He had an attitude and said you get 3 ounces of olives in the pizza well if that's the case why am u complaining tonight and not two nights ago when I ordered 2 if them and why does the toppings get more expensive with pizza size if you get 3 ounces per pizza also I never received the coupons for free pizzas as promised in response to last complaint )))))))))!!!!!!!This is my third time changing my star review one yr ago I gavethem 1 star due to delivery man stealing money from my son who should have given him 15 but gave him 5 insisting he received 30. Not 40 well anyway had to call and argue to get it corrected then I decided to get pizza from them again three weeks ago order was wrong but the guy who worked Friday nights this month is amazing he corrected the order without an argument so I gave five stars then the next Fri. Ordered again same very pleasant guy working remembered my order being messed up week before took 3 dollars off then last night I ordered again same order every time large double up special but this time I had the five dollar coupon just recently mailed for Christmas the coupon states good with any offer over 15 dollars at first she quoted me a crazy price I questioned it she said I couldn't use the coupon with the double up offer I let it pass not thinking because I didn't want to pay 36 for two pizzas that with offer is 26 but I read the coupon and as it says good with any offer over 15 dollars I called back and ASHLEY who took both of my calls said and I quote you can not use coupon with specials as per.owners rules even tHough the coupon was mailed from them it is false advertising and illegal to not take the coupon with special offers unless specified but the opposite is said ANY offer includes coupons specials etc after a long argument about the law and rules I receive the pizza at the special price and five dollars off which I was then told it cannot be on receipt and when the pizza arrived the order was wrong I had to call back ASHLEY said I need to check with so and so because she said I made one of the pizzas and it was as ordered trying to state I was lying she then came back to the phone and said she was sorry and would correct the order because both pizzas were the same except one had black olives and 1 didn't and they both made the same pizza LOL SO DUMB GREAT PIZZA BUT VERY INADEQUATE SERVICE EXCEPT FOR THE GUY I DEALT WITH ON TWO FRIDAY NIGHTS THIS MONTH AND IF THEY DONT ACCEPT YOUR COUPON WITH ANOTHER OFFER ITS FALSE ADVERTISING AND ILLEGAL

This is by far my most favorite blackjack location. Every single time I have gone to this location, I’ve literally NEVER been given an type of attitude, I’ve never been rushed and I’ve never waited long at all either, even when other customers were there before me. It’s always very clean inside and I notice every time I pick up my food that the employees wash their hands A LOT! Every time they stop touching the food they are preparing and touch like the register or money or whatever, I’ve always noticed them wash their hands before they go back to preparing the food. Which is obviously great!! The food is amazing, I love the cinnabread! The pizza is like no other pizza joint. I have had a lot of things on the menu and never been unsatisfied with anything I’ve ordered. The food is always fresh, and tastes delicious. I think I order from here at least once or twice a week. I am fully Italian, so I could probably eat pizza everyday. As long as it is from this blackjack pizza. I have only had one bad experience, which was a very small one where I ordered a cinnabread, large pizza, and a deep dish cheese bread. The entire order was great except the cinnabread wasn’t, it was a bit burnt. However, the manager(I think he is the manager, lol) called me literally the next day not even 24 hours had passed and I received a phone call from this location, letting me know that they apologized for the burnt cinnabread. He immediately made it right by letting me know I could come get a new one free of charge. The only reason why it took till the next day(but less than 24 hours), for me to receive a new cinnabread is only because I picked up my food that night literally right at closing time and they were no longer open to be able to give me a new one that night. However, if it had been during regular business hours I know I would’ve been able to receive the new one that same day. I have honestly NEVER been given such excellent customer service by any restaurant I’ve gone to in the past. If I could’ve given this location more than five stars, I most definitely, without a doubt would’ve given more than five stars. This location deserves one hundred stars...

The pizza is delicious; the delivery worker provided probably the rudest encounter I’ve ever had ordering food.

The delivery guy texted me at 3:05pm to call the store. I called as soon as I saw the text - my call took place at 3:08pm.

The driver was extremely rude over the phone, which confused my friend and I - we hung up but then called the store to clarify what just happened.

From the delivery driver:

“Well I called and left a message...”

I have no missed calls and no voicemails during this time.

“… I couldn’t get in the building, did you want me to just wait out there in the freezing cold?”

Why would I want that? Also, it is 56 degrees out; freezing cold is a stretch.

“… Do you want the pizza still? Because you’re going to have to wait.”

Why would I not still want my pizza? That’s why I ordered it.

I’m sorry you had to make the trek (~2 blocks) back to my house, but maybe actually try to get ahold of me before snapping at me over the phone, because you don’t want to do your job.

When all is said and done, there was no reason why he should have been that rude to my friend and me. That was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.

The pizza was good.

Kind of wish my tip was reimbursed though.

Whatever the case, I’m not ordering...
