I just can't get over how much I love this place! I'm not one to even take the time to write a review, but I simply couldn't help it. I've lived down the street from this place for a few years now, and finally stopped in a whim because I had a sweet tooth. The staff was so friendly and genuine. The atmosphere is no fuss and laid back. Almost all of their baked goods are scratch made(gluten free and vegan offerings too) and they offer a wide array of good wines, local beers, and cocktails. The prices are very affordable- which is very refreshing compared to an overpriced hipster coffee shop! On top of all that-- they even offer an amazing happy hour Monday through Saturday where their entire menu is half off from 4pm-7pm. I ordered a gluten free panini with pesto, tomato, balsamic, havarti, and turkey with a glass of malbec and my total only came to $7 so I ordered a fresh baked scratch made cookie and a gluten free lemon bar which only cost me another $1.75 total with the happy hour price. NEW FAVORITE SPOT. free wi-fi, good food, good drink, great vibe. I can't wait to stop in for a homemade...
Read moreWas exited to discover this place when I was new in the area but disappointed quickly by the service I received every single time I went in. Their drinks arenât too bad but if you care about sustainability in any way, just know, this business does not. Theyâre wasteful and I had one barista argue with me because I wanted to use the 10oz plastic sample cup for my drink after I tried their homemade lemonade, but because it didnât come with a lid (I was okay with that) she wasnât going to sell it to me. It ended with her saying âwe donât care, we throw tons of cups away every dayâ to which I replied that I cared and would be totally fine paying more for a smaller drink without a lid. My point, maybe offer samples in a small glass or tiny paper cup versus a large 10oz heavy duty plastic cup that you ONLY use for samples apparently. As a small business owner myself, sustainability is becoming more important to more people. This business is not concerned about their environmental impact and I wonât be going back or recommending...
Read moreThis is a fairly small, but popular place. Normally, I prefer black coffee to flavored coffee drinks but the bananas foster espresso drink sounded interesting. It did live up to the name delivering on the banana flavor. If you're a fan of flavored coffees there are a lot of choices here. There are also good unflavored coffees. There is a selection of sandwiches, chips, cookies and pastries. The Harvard breakfast panino was very good with ham, cheese, egg and guacamole. Just the right size too. There is also wine and beer available and a pear cider that looked interesting.
The staff was very friendly and helpful even though it was pretty busy. The space was comfortable to sit with my coffee and sandwich.
There is a dedicated parking area behind the building which is accessed from the alley off E Wesley Ave. Although busy, there was adequate parking available; it seems like a lot of the traffic is walk-in from...
