I give this experience 2 stars only because I have been told the food is awesome. However, my first experience was far from convenient or satisfactory. I ordered through the drive through. Seven tenders cost 10.25. I had never been before. So I asked if that came with fries or a drink. The associate said, “yea you can get fries and a drink with that.” We need to realize that is misleading. She then adds a drink and fries for another $5 to my order very quickly, and then clears the screen in hopes I don’t notice the extra charges. They new exactly what I was I asking, and they answered me in an unclear way with behavior that suggests intent to mislead me.
Tenders, drink, and fries were going to be $16. While still at the order spot ahead of the window, I asked the associate to remove the $2.85 drink. When I get to the window she takes my card and then informs me that they cannot simply charge me for the tenders and fries. Because I had already put in my order, not even paid yet, she cannot make changes to the order. We need to keep in mind my order was tenders and fries. I never finalized an order with a drink; she did. So she explains she must charge my card $16 and then refund the $2.85 drink. The meal is immediately charged to my card. My bank even reported the charge to my online banking almost as soon as I handed over the card while I was still at the window waiting on my food. However, the refund has not yet reported. I asked the associate at the window for a receipt detailing the transaction, and she could only provided an unitemized receipt. They seriously could not provide an itemized receipt of the transaction. I did not receive a receipt for the refund either. I was told it may take 1-2 business days to for the refund to post to my account, and “if (I) don’t see it, I can call and they will refund you manually.” So am I supposed to check my bank account over the next few days to make sure I get refunded? The service here is laughable. Birdcall only has a true position in the marketplace on Sunday’s when Chick-fil-A is closed, and even then you better know exactly what you want, no questions allowed. Seriously, you cannot ask for help with your order from an associate. I wish it wasn’t this way because man I hate Chick-fil-A’s politics, but I don’t want to pay $16 for $12 worth of food. That ain’t...
Read moreI just went to this place because of my son. I was very disappointed with the service, and the prices! Jeeez when placing my order in the Drive-thru, the person taking my order was not able to get my order right. (They have to take into account Their drive thru system is right there next to a busy street, too much noise) the person taking my order said “ I don’t understand what you are saying” In a rude/ frustrated manner. That made me feel so bad, especially because I am not a native speaker of English but I try hard, and had not had any issues before. So I had to tell the person I was not able to hear her. She immediately turned the volume up and it was so much better. the chicken nuggets are half the size of a regular nugget. It looks like they cut the regular nugget in half and fried them. This is over 7 dls. the deluxe burger.- my son was very disappointed, he has been to the burger place down on Pearl St. and could not stop talking about those burgers flavor and texture. With this one, he did not say anything but the cost of it. the kids meal, my other son was just laughing when he saw the order, just a bunch of French fries on top of 5 very small nuggets. Even the presentation is not that good. I paid over $22 dls for this order. I was able To remove the extra order of fries on time that had been added when I asked if the kid’s meal included fries. While in the D T the person in front of me got out of her car and went to the window, I was wondering why. When is was my turn, I understood why. While I was waiting for my order., I looked back and saw the person behind me sticking her head out of her car and talking loud to place her order. This was my first time at this place, and I believe, the last one. Very...
Read moreBIRDCALLING ALL BIRDIES TO BIRDCALL! This place came highly recommended from several friends, so I decided to take a chance a bring a friend on her birthday. One of my top life decisions just below not having kids. Everything from the ambiance/design down to the constant service and care was chef’s kiss. We were helped by a gentleman and scholar named Ryan. He assisted us as we navigated the menu and then nonchalantly added, “Dinner’s on us tonight.” I didn’t trust my ears, so I followed-up with, “No, we’re paying together.” I still didn’t understand until the end of the transaction when I tried to hand him my credit card. He again, repeated, “Dinner is on us. Happy Birthday!” Well... how... about... THAT??? La-dee-chickin’-da! Our first time at a new restaurant and we’re treated like a couple of PROM QUEENS! Have I gotten to the food yet? NOPE. So, at this point the food could’ve been barely edible and I still would’ve given a 5 star review, based solely on the service. LUCKILY, for my friend and me, and everyone presumably reading this review: THE FOOD WAS DIVINE! High-high quality ingredients with eco friendly containers. The loaded tots were a revelation and everything else is a can’t miss. Finally, Chick-fil-A can bite me!!! Their service doesn’t hold a candle. I’m always on call...
