On 8/24/24 @ around 430pm me my wife and our friend with his wife came here to enjoy some drinks and food. Well by the end of the night around 11pm, we asked for the check and turns out they were charging us 40 tequila well shots.
We can guarantee that we did not take that many shots. I bet they lost our tab and assumed just because it was 4 of us that we all were taking shots. My friends wife is 5 months pregnant. My wife only took 6 and I say that because I tried to cut her off at 4 shots but she insisted on taking more but called it quits after 6.
Let's do some simple math. 40-6=34, so apparently me and my buddy took 17 shots each. 34÷2=17, yeah, there is NO WAY we took that many shots. The bartender even came up to us saying she can review the cameras so we said "yeah go review them". She leaves but not even 3 minutes the manger comes. At this point we asked to review them too because how did they review about 5hrs of footage in less than 3 minutes.
The server stopped attending us probably after 1 hour of us being here. We literally had to yell "HEY BRO!" or wave him down to get service. We probably did not even take 2 shots in an hour because of how long it took us to get his attention.
Let's do some more math BUT giving Brothers the benefit of the doubt. My wife took 6 but let's just add 2 more to give them the benefit of the doubt. I know me and my buddy took 4 or 5 more after my wife stopped. So let's say I took 13 and my buddy took 14 because he was up 1 shot. 13+14+8=35, so how did we take 40 shots??
This is how we started ordering our shots. At first me and my buddy did 2 rounds of shots (4 shots) 2 per order. Next he orders 4 shots 1 for me, 1 for my wife and 2 for him. After that we started ordering rounds of 3 shots, after my wife stopped at 6 total shots we started ordering rounds of 2 shots. We took additional 4 or 5 more rounds of shots. So that was about 30-33 shots total.
At the end the manger took off only 4 shots. we still paid 4-5 shots we never took. I guess all I can say is at least they didn't rob us for 8 shots we did not take.
We were sitting on the west side of the bar at the south corner table. There is a camera right above us, but they didn't allow us to view it. I'm sure if we got legal representation, it would be a different story because they could request a subpoena of the footage. Worst experience...
Read moreThe most unprofessionally run place I’ve ever been to. It’s like a 22 year old slacker got put in charge and hired all of their progressively more slacker friends to work every aspect of the place. We arrived and saw through the door the hostess was sprawled out on the waiting bench with her feet up like it was a chaise lounge, face buried in her phone. She saw us come in and managed to hoist herself to a standing position and walked over to the main podium while yawning as if she’d just woke up from a twelve hour nap. We were seated right away as it was 10:00pm on a Wednesday night. We sat at a booth with menus but no water or silverware. After about 12 minutes of no contact the waiter nodded to me and told me he’d be with us in a minute. He walked to a nearby table and took their order then seemed to socialize with them for a good five minutes, obviously they were friends of his. He finally came to us and took our order. We ordered drinks and food all at once, fearing it would be a long wait if we just did drinks first. He then disappeared. Fifteen minutes later, we are still without drinks or even water. Our waiter delivers a big tray of drinks to his friends, chitchats for a few more minutes with them, then walks past us with a thousand yard stare determined not to make eye contact. I assume that our drinks must be next at least. I watch him go to the bar, snack on some kind of snack, chat with the bartender as she pours drinks. Surely these must be our drinks. Nope. The waiter walks away never to be seen again and another waitress picks up these freshly made drinks and delivers them to a large group of young folk who are chatting and socializing with much of the wait staff. Being very thirsty and not having so much as a glass of water after 30 minutes we walked out. Then I checked the reviews and thank the god of my parents choosing that we didn’t eat there. Dozens of tales of food poisoning, overcharging by adding extra tips, unordered items on the bill, general rudeness, and the boilerplate copy/paste reply by Seth the manager (of who I question the existence). Sounds like we dodged a bullet by bailing on this place. But if you want to kill a couple hours by being entertained by horror stories, sort the reviews by lowest on Google and Yelp. I have never seen an establishment with such horrific reviews...
Read moreThis place was gross. No one behind the bar, which is where we sat, paid any attention to us for 15 minutes. That’s how long it took from us being seated to get a menu. I can understand being busy which it was, but for a bartender to go to the same people multiple times before circling back around to us is ridiculous. My wife and I had 2 drinks each. Me 2 beers, which had to be bottled since their Co2 tanks were acting up, which I would understand but it was Friday night which is their $4 domestic draft night, and since their co2 tanks were acting up, I asked if they would honor the price. Nope. Had to pay $6 per bottle for 4oz less of beer. 12oz bottle =$6 16oz draft = $4. The math isn’t mathing. My wife had 2 Moscow mules, thankfully they got that right.
We got an order of cheese curds since my wife and I love curds. They were okay, a little over cooked and more breading than cheese but it is what it is. We have had upset stomachs since last night. The bar floor was disgusting, liquid, trash, everything all over the floor. At one point I saw a bartender intentionally drop disposable shot glasses right on the floor. The walkway as we entered was sticky as all hell. I can only imagine what their kitchen looks like. We Will NEVER be returning to this place. I do not recommend it. If you want good service, good food, and a good atmosphere, this place is not for you. Definitely a rowdy local spot. To the point where a couple that came in after us left within 5 minutes.
Hopefully their other locations aren’t this bad. John Taffer would have shut this place down and made...
