Showed up around dinner time to eat. We were informed there was a 45-minute wait to be seated. That time nearly flew by as we only waited 15-20 minutes. The wait for the server to come to our table was longer than the wait to be seated. We were seated at about 6:50pm on a Friday night and watched for 25 minutes as a vast number of servers and even managers walked by our table. Apparently, there was more buzz about a small drip from the ceiling by the table to the left of us than there was about serving actual customers. We had to finally ask to have a server to be asigned to our table as if we were totally forgotten about. We watched all night as the manager stopped by every table that was around us to see how their dinner went but not once bother to come by ours, a table that was not seen for 25 minutes and had a less wait time getting in the door than seeing a server. Food was good, and we were given a free appetizer, but by that point, you get kind of turned off by even being there since it felt as if we were an afterthought. I've been to numerous other Olive Gardens, and I have to say I would rather deal with a rude server than a server that is not even present. I am sure that the girl that was supposed to be assigned to us just ignored us, as she helped both tables to the left and right of us but ignored us, the table in the middle. The lady who did help probably was not assigned to that area, as she seemed extremely busy and would often forget things as simple as the dinner mint chocolates at the end of the night, a huge thing one of our kids was looking forward to. Hopefully if you choose this Olive Garden, you're treated better. I would have thought that this Olive Garden being in north field would have been better than either the Westminster and/or the Thornton locations, but I guess you have to learn...
Read moreI came in with My daughters and my friend on June 3rd we got sat in some young girl by the name of Shanaya's area and she shortly came over to offer drinks. From the beginning she had seems super overwhelmed and over worked but we proceeded to go on with our orders, I had asked for the soup and salad deal which I always get and food comes no issues. By the middle of the stay we asked for refills which took a little long but that was not the issue. We decided to pay on the little kiosk that is available on the table. Shanaya came to the table asked if I wanted more soup, I then responded "sure can I get it to-go" she then answered with "of course". After making a payment and waiting for the to-go she came over with two boxes and a bag. We waited about 15 minutes standing up out the booth wondering if perhaps she forgot about the soup, mind you she was still helping new tables around us. My friend called her over and had asked about the soup in which she said I cant have soup to go and walked away with a huge attitude. I was literally in shock because prior to us paying and leaving a tip she was doing her job and after I believe she seen her tip she became upset and not as helpful. Moral of the story is customer service is a huge factor in being a server and in day to day life, her customer service was based off of a tip and not making sure her customer had a smooth experience. I'm really saddened by how I was treated and I hope she never treats anyone the way she did me a paying customer ever again. Thanks...
Read moreMy family and I didn’t have the best experience last night and it frustrates me so much because I love Olive Garden. I have been to this location multiple times and never have I been treated poorly. I had called at 4:30pm to make a reservation for 9 people for 7:15pm and the young man said that was okay so he put us on the waitlist. A link was sent right away so we can just click it and be ready to be seated when we arrived. My party arrived 10 minutes before me so they checked in at 7pm. I had let them know it would actually just be 8 (7 adults, 1 baby) when I arrived. We had waited for 40 minutes to be seated even though the link said we were first/next on the list to be seated. Every time a new party or group came in they were seated before us. There was a party of 6 that showed up at 7:35pm and were seated right away. We had asked multiple times when we would be seated. We were shrugged off, given odd looks and were told we needed to keep waiting until people left, even though there were a good amount of people leaving… we could feel we weren’t welcomed for whatever reason. We had asked a final time if we were going to be sat anytime soon and the young lady that was the hostess shrugged us off again and said “Well now we’re really going to take our time!” and swung menus above her head. So my family and I left. It was really disrespectful. We all felt uncomfortable and just left to a different restaurant. I don’t think we will be returning to this...
