I’d give it zero stars, but had to give @ least one to write this review. BEWARE!!!!! First visit on 11/11 during happy hour. Sign @ the front counter stated see bar for updated menu. We sat at bar & happy hour prices were displayed on napkin holder. We had just got part of our order when bartender informed us we would need to pay or put a card on file because her shift was ending. So we decided to go ahead and pay. We received the bill & the receipt did not reflect the happy hour prices that were advertised/displayed @ the bar. The bartender then told us we can either pay the price on the receipt (more than the advertised prices) or wait until the manager was onsite. After further discussion the bartender told us she was trying to be nice and we needed to pay price on receipt or wait until the manager got there. Since we had only taken 2 sips of our drink and had yet to partake in the partial order that had been brought out we asked the bartender if there was anyone else on-site we could talk to. She said no. We then asked if they could get the manager on the phone and she said no. That is when we had no other option but to leave since we found the staff to be very confrontational & further escalating the situation in demanding that we pay or wait for the manager who wasn’t scheduled to come in for another hour or so. When we were leaving outside the establishment we noticed a sign advertising happy hour price. This sign had some items priced different than what was advertised @ the bar & different than what the bartender tried to charge us on the receipt.(bar states fries AND tots $1.29, sign outside states fries OR tots $1.49, bar charged us $1.99 each for an order of fries & an order of tots). What made it even more concerning is the staff admitted false advertising is a recurring issue at this establishment yet failed to take ownership for it and attempted to try to make us, the customer, accountable for their lack of quality control/assurance (pay or wait for manager to arrive onsite). This was our first...

Dog Haus in Denver, CO, is a must-visit spot for anyone craving a satisfying and delicious meal in a welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, the inviting ambiance sets the tone for an enjoyable dining experience. Specializing in burgers, hot dogs, and chicken sandwiches, Dog Haus truly excels in delivering dishes that are both mouth-watering and generously portioned.

The menu is a testament to comfort food done right. The burgers are juicy and flavorful, the hot dogs are creatively topped and perfectly grilled, and the chicken sandwiches are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Each bite is a testament to the care and quality that goes into the preparation of their food.

One of the standout features of Dog Haus is its impressive selection of local craft beers. With at least 23 varieties to choose from, beer enthusiasts will find themselves in heaven. The diverse range ensures there is something to complement every meal, enhancing the overall dining experience.

A special shoutout goes to Alondra, who took care of me at the bar. She was awesome and made the experience even better with her friendly demeanor and excellent recommendations on the local brews. Her knowledge and passion for the beers on tap truly stood out, making it easy to find the perfect pairing for my meal.

For sports fans, Dog Haus is the perfect spot to catch a game. The numerous widescreen TVs are strategically placed to provide great views from anywhere in the restaurant, making it easy to enjoy your favorite sports while indulging in the fantastic food and drinks.

Overall, Dog Haus in Denver combines a warm, welcoming atmosphere with top-notch food, an excellent beer selection, and exceptional service. Whether you're there for the food, the drinks, or the sports, Dog Haus delivers...

My husband and I had been wanting to try this place because the menu online looked great and obviously the reviews also made us want to try. We went on a beautiful day when our other lunch spot was packed and a line out the door. We figured there would be a wait here too, especially with a huge outdoor patio. No wait...we got right in and ordered food right away. We were very disappointed. My husband ordered a burger and I ordered the crispy chicken style sandwich and a grilled cheese for our son. Our bill was over $30 and we even shared an order of fries. I know this whole Hawaiian bun for burgers is somewhat of a “thing” right now, but this does not work for every burger. Sometimes that sweet flavor just does not work. Also, they are so thin, that the lettuce from the sandwiches made the bun so soggy that we had to eat our burgers with a fork and knife. I had to scrape the roll off of my chicken because it was like the bun sat in water. It made it slimy and gross!!! The fries had an odd seasoning that did not compliment the flavors of the food. The meat on the burger was dry and almost had the consistency of a burger that was re-heated in a microwave. The chicken also had an odd texture, the crisp was good, but the meat itself def. tasted frozen. I wish I could rate the service separately as everyone who worked there was really nice and polite. 5stars for service. But we will not return for service alone, that is why of the overall poor rating. The price for the burgers and the quality and taste for the price does not match. Over $30 for burgers I have to stand and order at a counter does not make...

I came to Dog Haus because I thought I should try a new hot dog place, and this was named as one of the Top Ten Dog Joints in a recent Westword article. That article tended to emphasize the more creative and innovative dogs gaining notice around town; admittedly, I stuck with my usual order, a chili dog. The dog was okay, the chili was okay. I forgot to ask for no cheese, so I got a gloppy coating of that plastic-ish cheese sauce that some places serve. The bun is the highlight here: it’s a lightly toasted Hawaiian roll. That’s an interesting change of pace, but didn’t make up for the medium-ness of the primary ingredients. The fries were about the same. Generally crisp, nicely seasoned... but not quite crisp enough, and rather too thick. The atmosphere was interesting - a huge bar, and lots of supposedly risqué slogans, such as “We Like Weiners” and “Have a Haus Hook-up.” I don’t think of a sausage shop as a romantic hot spot, but Dog Haus clearly sees itself that way! The TVs were fun. The sets were evenly divided - some for current sports, some for women’s talk shows, some for music videos from the ‘80’s. I discovered that I can no longer tell the difference between Joan Jett and Pat Benatar. Or was it Christie Hynde? I am getting old. The menu really is inventive and interesting. I was a bit disappointed with my chili dog, but other customers might enjoy a more extravagant and creative sandwich.
