If Bob Ross and a disco ball had a baby, it would be Whimsy Studios Denver! My family and I signed up for a class, and we were thinking we’d just be painting some cute little masterpieces, but we left feeling like Michelangelo (if Michelangelo had access to wine and a killer playlist).

From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth, enthusiasm, and a good vibe! The instructor was an absolute gem. She was equal parts talented, patient, and hilariously encouraging. My attempt at a beach scene somehow turned into what looked like a bit of a dark nightmare, but thanks to their guidance (and maybe a glass or two of liquid creativity), I now call it “Abstract Brilliance!”

The paint selection? Endless. The drinks? Divine. The vibes? Immaculately fun. We laughed, we sipped, we painted, and at one point, I’m pretty sure my husband tried to convince the instructor that his accidental splatter art was a “bold artistic statement.” (Spoiler: it was just a mess, but hey, Whimsy Studios made us all feel like rockstar artists anyway!)

If you’re looking for a night out that combines creativity, comedy, and cocktails, THIS IS IT! Whether you’re a seasoned painter or someone who still struggles with stick figures, Whimsy Studios makes everyone feel like an artistic legend. My family and I will 1000% be back, mostly to redeem our honor after masterpiece misadventures... that we enjoyed so much!

Iam very un please with this extremely unprofessional staff I found this online and order some beauty and the beast painting for my 7 yr daughter and two niece since I couldn't make it I asked a family member to take them. Shortly after arriving they were told it was going to be another $35 when asked why extremely rude staff memeber stated that payment was for three people not for four we already paid $105 for this but the adult had to pay just to sit and watch no paint or partisapate in activity reminding you there are three children and the children couldn't stay with out a adult $35 to sit and watch in buliding when shown there is nothing that states this on the online add. Was told by staff member well you read it wrong and a refund was requested no there is no refund even if we haven't even started the class yet and online never states all sales are finale Iam extremely disappointed in this company and will never go to recommend...

I've been here several times and always enjoy myself! They strike a good balance between 'party time' and supporting creative endeavors, adjusting to the mood of the room. Shy is my favorite instructor! They'll help you as much or as little as you like, somehow giving everyone attention even when there are a lot of us! If you have even just a little experience painting, I also recommend the Open Studio times -- you can use their supplies (and let them clean up!!) to put your imagination to canvas, or you can mimic one of the paintings they have up on the wall with a little guidance from staff (not the full instructive experience, but they can help you pick out colors and give...
