I was here for an extended stay not too long ago. The staff was always great, the hotel is well taken care of, and always appeared to be very clean. The lobby was welcoming, and the fire pit out front was nice to have on cold nights. I didn’t personally use the gym or pool, but both always seemed to be well maintained and cleaned often. Overall I was very happy with my stay!
My only complaint was poor security in the parking lot. I never personally felt unsafe while walking my dog around the area or anything like that, but there were a number of cars broken into during my stay. I thought I had been lucky to not experience this, as most of the break ins seemed to involve smashed in windows, and mine were thankfully fine. However, I realized when I was packing up to head home that one of the locks on my truck bed cover had been broken, as if someone had pried it open to see if anything was in the truck bed. Thankfully nothing was in there for them to steal, and a broken lock was a much easier fix than a broken window- but still an invasive feeling, and a hassle to fix none the less. There were signs posted warning of high numbers of vehicle break ins and thefts in the Denver area as a whole, but all the more reason I would think better security should...
Read moreI selected this rating of 1 star because I already paid for the room, and then they go of the Hilton Honors program: [There are 4 membership tiers. Member -$12 dollars Silver Gold Diamond $6 dollars] "They charge an extra $12 per day for parking in the lot." $6 If you are a higher rewards member. Still, this is a standard lot. "Not a covered lot, open to the elements, not a securely gated lot, with a patrol car around only at night. "Overly aggressive security guard." "A staff member warned me that he once was called by the security guard who had accosted an elderly woman on a walker because she forgot to put her paper parking pass in her car's driver's side window. Who was staying at the hotel." It is just a lot that is available to anyone to access. "There's nowhere else to park." However, guess who visits have guess parking areas. In theory, they don't need a pass, but I was given two of the $12 passes just in case by the front desk attendee, who told me the overly aggressive security guard would not mess with them if they had it.
An employee told me they only clean your room every three days after check-in. They charge the patrons a daily cleaning fee, which is inappropriate.
So that is why I put a 1. "Very disappointed...

Ms Van Beek,
After waiting 10 minutes to check in because your computers didn’t work, the front desk allowed a rowdy group of people who had recently been maced to stumble in where one fell against the foyer wall, and the other falling on the floor. After hearing them yelling (curse words) for five minutes while staff just watched and allowed us to be subjected to what I felt was a very dangerous situation, the pepper spray/mace began to spread through the air and now I ultimately am rinsing the burning from my eyes and mouth. At some point I used my suitcase to keep an unruly guest from continuing to bump into me. Staff watched and then started helping the unruly crowd. Good guys 0, them 100👊🏼
This situation should have been handled much differently and I will certainly be filing a complaint along with a very damning review. Please review your video from about 2am. Next time I come to town for a family event, we will not be staying by you. I have video as well. Please let me know how you plan to rectify this terribly frightening and now physically painful encounter that we suffered from your lobby
