Gyroz — Restaurant in Denver

You close at 10pm, OPEN sign was still on because it was 9:40pm and we were denied to get into and order because the cashier said “they were closed” Someone else came into the store and she was able to order and get the food. The cashier (brown skin, Hispanic) after that came to us and said that he could take our order because we saw him from our car that he took her order but for us, we were not able to get into and get our order. Why??? Are you discriminating? Because we look Latinos we were not able to get our food but the White brunette girl, she could order without any issue? Make sure you train your employees well because we were completely disappointed, we left with a bitter taste and we did not want to get into and order after having us denied the right to order.. it sucks. Not coming back to this business even if we have supported it for several years.. if you will treat your patrons in this way, do not expect me to do business with...

This place is absolutely disappointing inside and out. I have previously worked here and seen how they treat their customers and staff including myself. Most staff leaves the lobby a mess. The people in the restaurant create a hostile work environment. Which results in the customers experiencing uncalled for things. They don't train people the right way. In result the customer doesn't get their needs met. The order is wrong or the atmosphere is off. It's not fair to the customer. The manager at this location could care a less about how much support and work his store needs. The atmosphere in the kitchen is very negative. The employees continue to discriminate against newer employees. In result the restaurant declined to get out orders and have enough support in the kitchen which was lacking in the first place. I hope he finds it within himself to realize that his restaurant is overall...

The food was good, and the guy who took my order was very friendly and did a great job. The cooks also did a great job in preparing the food, so many thumbs up on those two things. On the downside, it was WAY overpriced. I paid over $30 for two #1 on the menu (just a regular Gyro sandwich and fries). And I swear I thought i read on the posted menu that each meal comes WITH a drink, but I didn't recieve any cups after paying for my order... So I assumed maybe I was wrong, and I ordered two regular fountain drinks while waiting for my order. And that came out to like $7.04. So in total I must have paid close to $40 for two gyros, two small fries, and two regular fountain drinks...... definitely not what I expected going in to the place.... (I would understand if the gyros and or fries were at all bigger than what I got.... not the...
