The absolute worst hamburgers and fries I’ve had here in Denver! I picked this place because of the reviews and the 4.6 star rating. This rating is extremely false and misleading and I’ll explain why. First off is the quality of the burger patty. It is the lowest quality processed pre-frozen patty I’ve had since cafeteria food in public school. With a 4.6 star google rating I would expect the burger patties to be hand patted actual beef and not processed, pre-frozen patties. In addition to the terrible patties, the burger toppings are a complete jumbled mess. This all makes for an ill seasoned, disgusting tasting burger; however, the buns were well toasted. Secondly, the fries were horrible. A good majority of my fries were the brown bad parts of the potato and tasted horrible. Again, with a 4.6 star rating I would also expect the fries to be quality as well as hand cut and they were not. Lastly, the decor was disgusting and unappetizing. Old building not very well kept up and smelled old. Seating had excessive wear, especially the booth seating, and tables were dirty. Absolutely disgusting inside and makes you wonder what it’s like where the food is prepared. One thing is for sure, this place is absolutely NOT worth a 4.6 star rating at all. Highly disappointing and somewhat disgusting. Aside from the terrible quality of the food, the staff was very friendly which is why it reluctantly gets one star. Please improve your quality of food to coincide with your...
Read moreDelicious Burgers, Parking Headache This place serves up one of the best burgers I've had in a long time! The food is absolutely fantastic—truly homemade style, tasting incredibly fresh and juicy. Everything, from the perfectly seasoned patty to the excellent crispy fries, was spot on. The attention to detail in the seasoning makes a huge difference. The staff were also a definite highlight; nice and friendly,
The Catch: Location and Parking The only significant issue preventing a five-star review is the location and parking situation. If you don't drive, you're fine, but for drivers, it's a major hassle. There is no real parking lot, only about two questionable spots right on the corner of 8th Street. Leaving was frankly dangerous; I almost got hit backing up. There is virtually no room to maneuver except into the busy street, and you're entirely dependent on other drivers being courteous enough to stop and give you a chance to pull out. It's a stressful way to end a meal!
Value and Atmosphere While the food is excellent, I do feel it's a bit pricy given the very simple, basic seating and atmosphere. It feels like the kind of place that should be charging a more standard burger meal price, especially considering the inconvenient location. Despite the parking nightmare and the simple setting, the quality of the food makes it a must-try if you can figure out a stress-free way to get there (maybe consider ride-sharing or...
Read moreI decided to try this establishment because its near work and I have driven by it numerous times, but never stopped in. I was not disappointed with my insane juicy hamburger topped with a hot dog wrapped in bacon! Oh, and a slice of ham as well! Absolutely the best burger that I have EVER had...EVER! McDonald's will never see another nickel from me because when I want a burger, I will make the effort to come here exclusively!
All orders are made on-the-spot and come hot and juicy with crispy fresh fries. Huge burger, fries, and 12 oz drink for only $11.88 unless you want the Grande size for only a buck more.
Restaurant could use a remodel for the bourgeois, but I love its quaint and CLEAN character!
No complaints at all from me. They took an American classic, put an authentic Mexican spin on it and the result is awesomeness! Feel free to speak English or...
